In order to eliminate these through methods and rituals, one should strive to perform specially designated rituals. This is the chapter on disease divination. Regarding divination for the deceased, on the right side, on a white felt, perform the living divination of "life arising and death falling." On the left side, on a black background, perform the deceased divination of "death arising and life falling," casting properly. Among these, for living divination, first write down how many males are in the family, arranging them from oldest to youngest. Then write down how many females there are, also arranging them from oldest to youngest. To distinguish between people and possessions, separate them with a dividing line. Then, mark each person's year, fortune, and nine palaces in their respective positions. Then, perform detailed forty-seven types of Kye-tsi divination for each living person. If simplified, it is twenty types: From each person to be divined, take out four pebbles that clash with the life force and other four elements with the celestial stem. Cast three white pebbles, etc., on the "Mala." Cast three white pebbles, etc., on the "Mala." In this way, by divining for each family member, you can know the Kye and disasters of the entire family. The twelve soul stones are: below each living person's year, from the major and minor deficiencies of the bone element, large and small age, to the twelve aspects of the size of power, children, enemies, and friends. The pebbles should be placed as stated in the book, with three black pebbles, etc., placed at the major deficiencies. Among the four directions, Dragon and Sheep are large, Dog and Ox are small, and the male year is large and the female year is small in the four directions. For example, taking the bone element Wood as an example, draw a diagram of the major deficiencies of Sheep, etc., like this, and then place white pebbles below the year animal of how many living people there are, and place black pebbles on its seven corners. It is said that a distance of four fingers should be left between the pebbles, so leave that much space. Between the "Dolama" Wood Bone Fire Sheep year, place one white pebble under the major deficiency. On its seven corners, place black pebbles on the minor deficiency Ox year, etc., and all people's situations should be placed in this way. It is said that the number of pebbles is fourteen, that is, one person.

The scriptures clearly state things like dying in the year of the horse and snake. If the power of the previously deceased increases the power of the deceased who died this year, it is white, if it does not increase, it is black. The dice of the living and the dead mixed are, if the life of the deceased increases the life of the elder among the living, and the power of the elder increases the power of the deceased, then white is obtained. If the life of the deceased cuts off the life of the living, then the life of the living is reduced. If that happens, then perform a fire offering in the month that is the enemy of the life of the deceased's year. The months of the seven killings and four killings entering the tomb of the living are inauspicious, and fire offerings cannot be performed, and the tomb day of the living must also be postponed.
