That is the praise. Kālodayin: Black Appearance or Timely One, was the son of a wealthy householder in Shravasti. At his birth, a rain of various flowers fell, causing wonder. He was offered to the Teacher as an attendant and attained Arhatship. He lived in the charnel ground, feeding on corpses, and thus became emaciated and his complexion turned purplish-black. He was known as the Charnel Ground Dweller and Great Black One. When fetching water, he could fly into the sky, and the water pot would follow him. Bakula: Son of Vajra Woman, was the son of a Brahmin named Vajra Woman when the king of Badsa had not yet been appointed as the Appearance King. He was born wrapped in a cloth resembling monastic robes. His mother offered him to the Buddha, and he attained Arhatship. Bhadra: Son of Rab-bzang, a servant of King Śuddhodana, was offered to the Bhagavan and attained Arhatship. Kanakavatsa: Golden Calf, was the son of a householder in Magadha. As soon as he was born, a baby golden elephant that excreted gold was also born. Therefore, his name was given as Protector of Cattle, Lord of Gold, or Golden Calf. Ajatashatru seized his elephant but could not subdue it. He renounced the world and attained Arhatship. Bharadvaja Hiranya: Bharadvaja Golden Giver, was the son of a householder of the Bharadvaja lineage in Shravasti. He was born with both hands marked with gold coins. Because the coins in his hands were inexhaustible, they filled the entire house. Therefore, he was also called Golden Giver and Golden Staff. He renounced the world and attained Arhatship. Bakula: The voice remained the same, also called Bark-cloth Wearer, was the son of a Brahmin in Shravasti. He was learned in the Vedas. After his parents died, he lived in the mountains, wearing bark-cloth. When the Bhagavan went in that direction, he was particularly devoted and jumped from the mountain. The Teacher caught him with miraculous power and taught him the Dharma, and he attained Arhatship. Cūḍāpanthaka: Little Path Demonstrator, and Mahāpanthaka: Great Path Demonstrator, were brothers. In Shravasti, a Brahmin woman died every time she gave birth. An old woman, according to the instructions, when Little Path Demonstrator was three years old, wrapped his body in white cloth, making him look like a tree trunk. She entrusted a girl with a container filled with ghee, and on the road where the Buddha was passing, she lit the cloth on his head and said, "You and the child, together, prostrate."
