Then cut with a knife. Grind the (offerings) into powder with a club or pestle, collect them, burn them in the homa, collect the ashes and charcoal, and knead them. Press down on a stone slab with various vajra patterns drawn on it. After that, the mantra practitioner presses down with a left-extended posture, laughing loudly and reciting mantras. When nailing the phurba, at the place to be subdued mentioned above, insert it while reciting "sarva duṣṭa grahāṇa(Tibetan, सर्वदुष्टग्रह,sarvaduṣṭagraha, all evil spirits)". When cutting with a knife, recite the root mantra: "ccheda ccheda māra māra khaḍgena hūṃ phaṭ(Tibetan, च्छे द च्छे द मार मार खड्गेन हूँ फट्,cheda cheda māra māra khaḍgena hūṃ phaṭ,cut cut, kill kill, with sword hum phat)". When pressing down, recite the root mantra: "duṣṭān grahāṇa stambhani kuru laṃ hūṃ phaṭ(Tibetan, दुष्टान् ग्रहना स्तम्भनि कुरु लँ हूँ फट्,duṣṭān grahanā stambhani kuru laṃ hūṃ phaṭ,evil spirits, stop, do, lam, hum, phat)", and make fierce gestures as much as possible. Then, perform ablutions with the peaceful posture shown above. Then, perform the rite of restoring life. In this way, one will be liberated from all evil spirits and become happy and auspicious. In the "Vajra Elucidation of the Meaning of the Charming Vajra Mantra," it says: A goddess or yakshini, who possesses clairvoyance, if one wants to subdue her, it will be accomplished soon. It is difficult to subdue those with great power, those who do not conform to one's own wishes, those with roughly accomplished forms, and those who do not possess clairvoyance. Goddesses, yakshinis, etc., who have subtle bodies and possess clairvoyance, those who conform to one's own wishes, and even those with great power can be subdued, it is not difficult. Also, regarding the situation of targeting the four types of demons: Naga demons harm others through subtle means; earth demons harm others through greed and jealousy; mamo demons harm others through attachment; and elementals harm others through strong malice. Even if these possess, elementals have various thoughts, so they do not possess. Earth lords have strong ego, so it is unpleasant to associate with them. Nagas are foolish, so it is difficult to get close to and like them at first. Mamos are too fond, so it is always difficult to grasp their minds. It is said that the application of mantras can be accomplished through four types of power: What are the four? The power of emanation, which is the power of blessing; the power of truth, which is the blessing of the truth of secret mantras; the blessing of the power produced by applying the characteristics of substances and actions as instructed; and the blessing of the power produced by the help of others. A total of four.

There are four types of emanations: the emanation of wisdom, the emanation of samadhi, the emanation of action, and the emanation of mental activity. The first of the four emanations is that those who have attained wisdom subdue obstacles and then take beings under their care. The second is that those who have attained samadhi accomplish purposes through various miraculous powers. The third is that those who have miraculous powers obtained through karmic birth benefit or harm beings. The fourth is that, although one has not obtained miraculous powers like the previous three, one accomplishes actions through single-pointed mental activity. Relying on any of the four emanations, one can become the basis for blessing the remaining three blessings. Mantras are blessings with the power of truth. Likewise, mudras and samadhi are also. Those gatherings of substances and so forth produce results through the power of the objects and the power of the nature of the command, and the conventional dependent origination is infallible. Other help refers to pleasing those deities who have the power to benefit or harm through offerings, recitations, generosity, fire offerings, and so forth, so that they will help the practitioner. Thus, through four different abilities, the activities of mantras will be accomplished. So it is said. May there be auspiciousness! A draft of the thangka of Manjushri and so on. Here, the thick woolen cloth from Nepal is extensively blessed for the Manjushri thangka. Then, young girls are made to spin thread. The thangka woven by weavers has various sizes such as large, medium, and small. First, one approaches (Manjushri) by reciting a million mantras on the mountaintop. One takes refuge, generates bodhicitta, and takes vows. A piece of clean cloth or silk is sprinkled with water of sandalwood, camphor, and saffron. In a clean place, a clean painter, eating the three whites (milk, butter, cheese), wearing white clothes, paints from sunrise to noon on the full moon day when the stars are auspicious. After that, one does not paint. In this way, one paints every day until it is completely finished. Extensively, there are many things such as the pure land arrangement of Amitayus. Briefly, in the center on a lotus, a young Manjushri, reddish or golden in color, with a peaceful smile and beautiful face. The right hand holds the fruit of granting wishes, and the left hand holds a blue lotus. There are five tufts of hair. He possesses all the ornaments of a child. He wears pearls and jewels for offering. He has a blue flowing upper garment. He has a silk lower skirt, sitting in the vajra posture. His
