Because they are not different entities, it is merely through subsequent cognition that awareness and emptiness are distinguished. However, in terms of meaning, they never become distinct, so it is an unconditioned union. Furthermore, if it is both clarity and awareness, how could it be unconditioned? If one understands it in this way, thinking that this mind objectifies emptiness, this is the desire of all. Because emptiness is an unreal, unconditioned phenomenon, and mind is a real, conditioned phenomenon, they consider it an incompatible union like twisting threads. Combining the unreal, nihilistic reality with the phenomena that grasp it, which are real, does not lead to the realization of reality. Because reality is: phenomena and suchness, appearance and emptiness, awareness and the expanse of reality, conditioned and unconditioned, real and unreal, etc., the nature of duality is completely absent in the expanse of reality, the mind of enlightenment. This is the ultimate reality that encompasses all of samsara and nirvana in the ten directions and three times. Because it never changes, one must understand that the phenomena of time and space, conditioned and unconditioned, samsara and nirvana, self and other, good and bad, birth and death, etc., all dualities, although they appear, do not change from the ground. If analyzed with subsequent inference, although the various internal and external phenomena appear in many ways, they appear while being empty, and are empty while appearing, like an illusory appearance-emptiness, not exceeding this range. But these two are appearances at the time of including appearance, so various characteristics of birth, death, increase, decrease, real and unreal appear. Because there is no such duality in the ultimate reality, there is no change in the three times, no division of directions, and no characteristics of duality such as real and unreal. For those with dualistic appearances, thinking about the changes of past, future, and present times, and the ways in which various phenomena such as real and unreal appear, the nature of reality is influenced by this, and they cannot realize immutability. However, while not deviating from the meaning of non-duality, for those with dualistic appearances, samsara and nirvana, etc., appear infinitely in time and space, although this is the way phenomena appear, if one realizes that the way the nature of reality remains never wavers, then it is equality of the three times, equality of samsara and nirvana, equality of appearance and emptiness. This is the nature of reality that is free from the extremes of conditioned and unconditioned, inconceivable to the ordinary mind, and is the vision of ultimate truth.

That which is realized by the noble ones through their own self-cognizant wisdom is the meaning of suchness. Iron Pig Year, 11th month, 12th day. Furthermore, according to the Sutra tradition, although meditating on emptiness involves seeking understanding through the view of listening and contemplation, and then ascertaining the nature of the dharmadhatu, if one merely considers the nominal ultimate truth as the dharmadhatu and is unable to generate the meaning of emptiness that is non-conceptual, as taught in the Sutras, then it is a great mistake to presume that such a view can spread to all paths of the Vajrayana. According to the Vajrayana, although it is necessary to ascertain the understanding of the innate co-emergent nature of luminosity, if one is necessarily attached only to the words of scripture, and thinks that the entry, abiding, and dissolution of prana in the central channel is a characteristic of the Vajrayana path, and imagines the appearance of a central channel like an empty tube inside the body, and thinks that there is wisdom prana within it, then even during the finger retraction of the Kalachakra, those who fabricate a central channel called the "upper end of the central channel," which is not found in the tantras and the lineage of the Rigden, and combine it with the embellishments of other tantric systems, are actually poisonous substances that contaminate the profound teachings with conceptual thought. The tantras state that one should establish the focus of attention sixteen fingers above the eyebrow. This clearly shows that there is no body or central channel. Who can know that there is an indestructible bindu? Is it scripture? If so, then the size of the central channel and the amount of prana entering it must be determined; it cannot be accomplished by mere focus. According to mantra, the appearance of samsara arises from the consciousness relying on the mount of karmic prana, and pure bodies and wisdom arise from the luminous wisdom relying on the wisdom prana. The consciousness and wisdom, together with their mounts, have always existed as phenomena and the nature of phenomena. Moreover, everyone agrees that their support is the central channel, the place of wisdom, and the left and right channels, the place of karmic prana. If the entry of prana into the central channel is a characteristic of mantra, then does only wisdom prana reside in the central channel? Or is there also the mind of luminosity? If it is only wisdom prana, then what does it do? If it is the mind of luminosity, then what is the mind of luminosity like? If it is primordial purity wisdom, then are there two knowledges or not? Is it conditioned or unconditioned?
