By what power are sentient beings and objects perceived as distinct, merely as appearances, Like the realm and possessor of dreams, self and other, happiness and suffering. Therefore, when there is no grasping, all appearances appear, but without attachment. Although various appearances appear, they are of equal taste. Thus, various appearances and the absence of various existences are indistinguishable, appearing as one meaning. Like the eight examples of non-origination, as stated in the Ornament of the Sutras. The unchanging appearance of the expanse, the inexhaustible empty form, like a dream, has never existed in ultimate reality. Understanding the meaning of what has never been absent in conventional terms. Therefore, when all dharmas are equal in non-origination, and the unequal appearance of various forms arise as one meaning without contradiction. From the perspective of non-origination, it is unchanging, inseparable, and equality itself. From the perspective of origination, various forms appear, such as birth, death, self, and other. In general, understanding that there is no increase or decrease is the play of the expanse. Although appearing as self, there is no separate cut-off as self, like a person in a dream. Although there is no object of focus, it is wonderful that completion, maturation, and purification can enter the ocean. Although sentient beings are not objects of focus, their function exists merely as conventional illusion, and this reason does not cease. From the perspective of the expanse, there is no object of focus from the beginning. Therefore, all sentient beings are equal, sentient beings are not sentient beings. And so on. May there be auspiciousness! Advice to those who wish to seek the truth: "Seeing the nature of mind" means understanding one's own mind as unborn. When one is certain that one's own mind is unborn or primordially pure, it is also established that the mind is without basis or root. When certainty arises that one's own mind is unborn, the nature of one's own mind has always been unborn, it is not that it has become unborn now. When one knows one's own mind as unborn or without basis or root, how can the mind have disappeared? If so, the mind stream should be cut off, but from where do the present and future minds arise? Because they arise. When one realizes that all dharmas are unborn from the beginning, is it that one realizes that all dharmas are non-existent and becomes a mere emptiness of negation? While all dharmas appear, they are unborn from the beginning, therefore, when one is certain that the basis of emptiness, all dharmas, and their nature or reality, emptiness, are not different, one realizes the union of clarity and emptiness. The so-called unborn is a negation

There is nothing to understand by just being alone. When you know that the nature of the unborn dharma is unborn, like the unborn mind, when you know that the meaning of that which is originally unborn is inseparable at once, then there is no need to block and liberate this present appearance. As it appears, there is not even a particle of becoming an object of attachment to real characteristics. The occurrence of this must be understood as the very suchness of that thing. If, like the exclusion of words that are separated from the root of the unborn, the so-called emptiness is focused on a mere empty void, this will deceive the practitioners who seek the very suchness, and they will not realize the meaning of union. It is a cause of sadness to spend one's life only in verbal disputes! Therefore, the Tathagata said, "The unborn is the one truth." etc. The meaning of saying that the unborn is the very suchness of things does not refer to the independent unborn that is not related to anything with characteristics. It refers to the meaning of realizing the unborn as primordially pure, as the thing itself with characteristics appears as such, has never been born before, is not born now, and will not be born in the future. If you do not grasp the root of the unborn dharma, then the so-called unborn does not exist independently. Therefore, if you realize the true meaning of the unborn as stated in the sutras, then there is nothing better than the emptiness of union that possesses all kinds of excellence. No matter how high or profound the name is given, the meaning is the same, everyone! This is important.
