However, there are no different parts there. There is no designation of seeing it as "this" with distinctions. The union on the vase is imputed by the concept that it is only the vase. But in reality, since the vase that is only the vase is not designated, how could it be only that? The union of different entities, and the fleeting appearance of wisdom on eye consciousness, are like the sky seen through the eye of a needle. Although they appear as fragments due to the delusion that the sky of the mind of dualistic grasping seems to have distinctions, the mind that realizes it is not actually deluded, because it sees the nature of reality. In reality, there are no distinctions there, because in the realm of reality, the entity on the vase and the nature of reality are merely obscured. The realm of reality is unchanging and constantly present, pervading samsara and nirvana. Therefore, even when ordinary beings see the non-conceptual, they do not comprehend it because dualistic appearance has not subsided. Since the meaning of realization is not deluded, meditating on it causes dualistic appearance to subside. If one becomes accustomed to the conceptual, then it becomes the cause for realizing emptiness for the first time. Until one realizes the non-conceptual, no matter how accustomed one becomes to it, dualistic appearance will not subside. One will definitely not realize the nature of reality. Even if one becomes accustomed to the conceptual, the way of grasping, which grasps the entity as the form of a thing, does not disappear. If grasping does not disappear, then affirmation, negation, and elaboration on the object of grasping will not disappear. Even when the ultimate truth of the conceptual is seen on the vase, it is merely a way of grasping. In the place where the way of grasping disappears, affirmation and elaboration of "this" are not designated. In the place where it is not designated, one cannot differentiate the nature of reality from other things. In short, the ultimate conclusion of the sutras is the key point of tantra. Its ultimate point is the indivisible, uncompounded awareness of emptiness and luminosity. Without understanding that, one will not know the view of luminosity of tantra. When one understands it, one will generate certainty in the ground luminosity. From that state, one will have faith in the way empty images appear. Through luminosity-emptiness or appearance-emptiness, the supreme emptiness, one can purify all coarse aggregates into luminosity. One must understand them as the way of consciousness and wisdom. Even ordinary Madhyamikas assert the union of the vase and the emptiness of the vase. But their union is the object of consciousness, the emptiness created by the mind. That is the gateway to entering the luminosity of wisdom and meaning.

It is merely a door. Above wisdom, there is the equality of emptiness, free from duality of object and subject, and devoid of conceptual elaboration. Because it is not mind but the nature of reality, and because it is the nature of reality of all phenomena such as matter and consciousness, it is not called mind. What is called mind is a mere phenomenon with attributes. What is called emptiness is merely a negation. It is not either of these two; therefore, neither object nor subject exists. Although one can say union, the meaning is the reality of the nature of being free from conceptual elaboration, and in this state, the knowing mind and all knowable things, whether real or unreal, become equally one taste, knowing that everything appears without moving from that ground. Separating mind and object, appearance and emptiness, is not the ground, but the phenomena that arise from the ground. This is important. Without cause, not dependent on others, like always existing, and without cause, by what, like sometimes arising. If self-arisen wisdom exists without cause, would there be a fault? There would not be, if things existed without cause, there would be a fault, although self-arisen wisdom exists, it is not something with its own inherent nature, because it is the nature of the unconditioned and unborn. Similarly, the images of emptiness should also be understood in this way, it will never be the characteristic of having things, and it can never be the nature of the unconditioned, like space. The images in a mirror, etc., although empty of real form, from their own side, are produced from the cause of the face and the mirror, therefore they are conditioned, because the cause is momentary, so its result is also momentary, like a vase, etc., it seems to have the difference of arising from the immediately preceding moment, one should examine according to the scriptures. Hair, etc., are not meaningful, one should examine according to "etc.". Images, echoes, etc., should not be accepted as either conditioned or unconditioned. The essence is unconditioned, non-existent. If the appearance is conditioned and existent, then the example of emptiness and form is good. Conditioned, like a vase, etc., unconditioned, like space, etc., in the mind separate them. Although their terms and meanings are also established in the mind by valid cognition, their ultimate establishment is merely imputed by conceptualization, and cannot be established by the nature of things themselves. Although conceptual thought establishes a vase as something that arises and ceases, in the true sense, it is established as without arising and ceasing, that is, emptiness.
