By purifying the adventitious stains of the mind and manifesting wisdom, if the two obscurations related to that sentient being are purified, then the term "Buddha" must be used. In short, by the key point that the luminous mind is naturally pure, it must be acknowledged that the complete two wisdoms are Buddhahood. If it is not Buddhahood, then natural purity is impossible, so the Dharma-nature and wisdom that are pure from the beginning are absolutely impossible. If you think that it is merely emptiness without the two obscurations, then the sky would also be like that, because it is without mind and without the two obscurations. If there is wisdom and no two obscurations, then there is no choice but Buddhahood. If there is no wisdom, then the Dharma-nature will become merely empty, so it is meaningless to say that it is luminous. Therefore, because of the fault of not recognizing the ultimate Dharma-realm of the union of Dharma-nature, this causes all confusion, so it is necessary to refute the establishment of sectarian philosophical systems. The union is established even in the context of Madhyamaka by means of ultimate reasoning, and it can be determined that mere emptiness is definitely not Dharma-nature. If that is the case, then in the context of mantra, the luminous innate mind is established as the union of bliss and emptiness, or clarity and emptiness, or awareness and emptiness. If that is established, then that clarity, bliss, and awareness that are inseparable from the realm, will transcend compounded dust and momentary phenomena and become self-arisen wisdom. At that time, from the point of view of emptiness, the words that are explained, whether it is Dharma-realm and emptiness, from the point of view of appearance, whether it is unchanging bliss, signless clarity, or non-substantial awareness, whatever is said, one will understand the original Dharma-nature that has no difference in meaning, and thus realize the philosophical system. In general, the Dharma-realm is naturally pure, and the Sutra school must also accept that there are no two obscurations from the beginning. If there are no two obscurations, then the pervasion of having the two wisdoms is that all uncompounded things such as the mindless sky, and compounded things such as earth and stones, do not have two obscurations, because the two obscurations are the Dharma of the mind, so it is not possible to place the two obscurations on the mindless. Because the two obscurations of afflictions and knowledge that arise from the two self-grasps must be placed on the mindful, therefore, although the mindless do not have two obscurations, the pervasion of having the two wisdoms is not established. If there is mind and no two obscurations, then the pervasion of having the two wisdoms will be established.

It is established because the mind without obscurations is pervaded by the two wisdoms that spontaneously accomplish the understanding of the two selflessnesses. Therefore, in the Mantrayana tradition, the mind of self-luminous nature is considered to be primordially pure since it is free from the two obscurations from the very beginning. Moreover, the Uttaratantra Shastra says, "The nature of the mind is luminosity," and the Abhisamayalankara says, "The Dharmata is the mind," and so on. The luminous mind is the wisdom without grasping, so it does not possess the two self-grasps. Therefore, how could it not have the two wisdoms? If that great mind, free from the two obscurations, does not know the suchness and the extent of things, then even the Buddhas would not know, because knowing the suchness and the extent of things through the wisdom that realizes the two selflessnesses is the common tradition of Sutra and Tantra. If one inherently possesses the two wisdoms, then that can only be the Buddha, so one must acknowledge that the mind itself is inherently Buddha. If there is no such wisdom, then there would only be the mind of sentient beings with obscurations, and there would be no liberation from the obscurations, the Tathagatagarbha, and the mind of Vajradhara pervading the sky, and the original mind luminosity, and the purity of mind luminosity, etc. Or even if they exist, they are not originally pure from the two obscurations, then the sutras of the final turning of the wheel and all the tantras of the Unsurpassed Tantra would become impossible to acknowledge. Therefore, one must accept the unchanging bliss without momentary parts, and the self-luminous nature, and the original awareness-emptiness, and the self-arisen wisdom, which are spoken of in all the definitive and ultimate meaning Sutras and Tantras. The reasoning is also established by the accomplishment of the union of the Dharmadhatu. Even if expressed from the aspect of bliss-clarity-awareness, it is established that the nature of emptiness and non-duality is unconditioned. If one does not acknowledge self-arisen wisdom, then there is only the aspect of negation, and the Dharmata cannot be established. In that case, the original state of union cannot be accomplished, so the appearances of samsara and nirvana would be cut off, and the self-luminous nature itself would not be accomplished. If that is not accomplished, then the result of striking the vital points on the body of the Vajra Yoga of the Completion Stage, the four Kayas, would not be accomplished, because there would be no original indestructible three Vajras. If there is none of that, there would be no wisdom wind and no luminous mind. If there is none of that, there would be no luminosity of the wind entering the central channel.
