From, without abandoning the attachment to the true and certain Madhyamaka and the characteristics of wind, merely by contemplating the object of focus, one can guide the completion stage. Thus, corrupting the near paths that connect to the actual completion stage, and considering the realm of conceptualization, which is attached to the non-existence of inherent existence, as the Dharmadhatu, thereby corrupting the intention of non-conceptual wisdom, and slandering that the Vajrayana path, which is free from the attachment of the non-affirming negation of the Madhyamaka that clings to non-existence, only has calm abiding and no path to liberation, this unbearable slander exists in Tibet. Whether this is a good explanation or not, the wise should discern. The original mind, clear light, is free from the defilement of conceptualization and is like the sky. Such a mind, like the sky, which is free from the three conditions that cause it to arise, exists in the continuum of all sentient beings. If one newly teaches the clinging to non-affirming negation and forces them to meditate, claiming that it is the path to quickly attain Buddhahood, it is like undertaking the difficulty of painting pictures in the sky. Whether this is a reasonable statement or not, please discern. If such an original mind exists, how is it different from the Alaya? Why is it that it cannot perceive anything other than the sky-like state free from conditions? Now it is amazing that one can newly learn to meditate on emptiness! If the clinging to non-existence, which is fabricated by conceptual thought, can be newly learned through meditation, then why can't attachment and other emotions be meditated upon? Because they can be newly transformed by conditions. If one does not understand that this is unreasonable, who is more foolish than that? Haha! When the eighty types of conceptualization, which have karma and wind as their mount, cease, what is the mount of the mind that holds the object of view? If there is no wind as a mount, how can it move? This contradicts your own assertion. How can a mind that is not self-luminous and unconditioned, but is conditioned and has karma and wind as its mount, become the original mind? If it becomes the original mind, then this self-luminous mind will not become the original mind, because there are two original minds in the continuum of one person, which is not mentioned in any scripture or oral instruction, and it cannot be established by reason. You who refute the Alaya, where did you find such a mind? Haha! Without understanding the original mind as clear light wisdom and unconditioned, you affirm it as consciousness and conditioned.

Although this fault of clinging seems determined to discard the corpse that has killed the meaning of the Vajrayana, the compassion of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the lamp of the scriptures and tantras, and the truth of the Dharma that no one can disturb, and the reasoning that enters into the correct definitive meaning, will at once, with the great light like the sun, make all such dark illusions baseless. In short, is the original luminous mind the mind of the Dharma, or is it a phenomenon? Is it consciousness or wisdom? Is it pure or impure? If you think that since the first is the mind, it is a phenomenon, not the mind of the Dharma, then there is scriptural evidence: What is the nature of the mind, luminous? etc. And the Ornament of Sutras says: Dharma mind, etc. And quotes the scriptures of the tantras. If you think that the mind is not included in the Dharma, is there not a Dharma realm that is naturally luminous? That cannot be taken as reality. Is there not emptiness that possesses all perfections? Is there not unchanging bliss? Is there not bliss that transcends the phenomena of dust and moment? If you say there are not these, then quote the Kalachakra Tantra. If it is consciousness, which of the eight aggregates is it? Examine how it does not transform into the meaning of the original mind, etc. If it is Dharma wisdom, then by manifesting it through skillful means, it is the realization of emptiness and its own nature, not the meaningless clinging to nihilistic negation. Since all conceptualizations are dissolved, how can clinging and conceptualization arise, etc.? Clearly make the essence of all reasoning. If it is naturally pure, and there are no two obscurations, then realizing it is realizing the Dharma. Now what new realization needs to be added? If there is, it is because there is something that is not purified by the obscuration of knowledge or the obscuration of affliction, so it seems that one must newly learn the two selflessnesses. If that is the case, then it is an impure mind, and the pure, luminous mind, the nature of Nirvana, is impossible. Accidental defilements exist in consciousness, so the original mind should be manifested, not that the original mind wisdom has accidental defilements, for if it did, it would become impure. If there are no defilements, why are there no two knowledges, because there is wisdom and no obscurations, just like the Buddha. Therefore, one must acknowledge that the Dharma nature of the mind is primordially enlightened. Although primordially enlightened, it has not been realized as such.
