wisdom, and it is referred to by the names of the five wisdoms. If the Buddha's wisdom is still conceptual, has the appearance of duality of grasper and grasped, and is ordinary like the alaya and consciousness, then it would be impossible to accept that through the power of the path, the habitual tendencies of conceptualization and the habitual tendencies of duality are exhausted, and the eight consciousnesses are transformed into the five wisdoms. However, in the appearance of those to be tamed, even if the Buddha's eye consciousness, consciousness, etc., are merely labeled with the name of the cause as the name of the effect, since the consciousness of the causal time has ceased, it is the body of wisdom of the resultant time, so it is not an ordinary aggregate and self-characterized consciousness. According to your view, love, etc., with an object and conceptualization, and the six perfections are the path, but love, etc., and the six perfections that are held by the wisdom of the three spheres without object and without conceptualization, are not the correct path. In this way, worldly generosity, etc., are true generosity, and supramundane generosity, etc., are not the correct path. So, what is non-conceptual wisdom like? It does not conceptualize anything. Why? Because it is the wisdom that realizes the reality of the dharmadhatu. The dharmadhatu is not a thing or a non-thing, nor does it fall into the extreme of existence or non-existence, but the two truths are inseparable, each to be known by oneself, so it transcends all objects of conceptualization and names. As the noble Shantideva said: When things and non-things, do not abide in the realm of the mind, then there is no other aspect, so without object, it is extremely peaceful and happy. Also, as the tantra says: Whoever does not know the nature of no object, he also does not know the nature of the dharmadhatu, therefore, things and non-things, should know no object by destruction. Also, as the Vajra Heart Commentary says: From the seed of Kotrapa, the fruit of Salu does not arise, the seed of conceptualization arises, the fruit becomes conceptual, the fruit born of non-conceptualization, the fruit becomes non-conceptual. Therefore, there is absolutely no non-conceptual wisdom that focuses on the emptiness of negation. If it is necessary to focus on non-inherent existence, although it will not be attached to inherent existence, it will conceptualize non-

Does not discriminate. If one discriminates, whether discriminating things or non-things, one will not go beyond conceptualization. For example, when discriminating that a rabbit has no horns, although there is no conceptualization that grasps the rabbit's horns, there is a conceptualization that grasps the absence of horns. Therefore, there is no way to prevent conceptualization that has the unreal as its object. If there is no such thing, even if one does not grasp it as truly established, how can one prevent the conceptualization of all phenomena such as vases? There is no way to prevent it. Therefore, whether it is refuting conceptualization or establishing conceptualization, it does not go beyond conceptualization. Non-discriminating wisdom is neither refuting conceptualization nor establishing conceptualization, because it does not discriminate anything. Some say: Non-discriminating wisdom is refuting conceptualization, because it is free from elaboration. It is a conceptualization that refutes elaboration, and it is a conceptual notion that establishes freedom from elaboration. If one thinks like this, when all elaborations are refuted, how can there be a thought that one is free from elaboration? If there is, then elaboration has not yet been refuted, so it is not freedom from elaboration. Therefore, it must be said that non-discriminating wisdom directly realizes the Dharmadhatu, ultimate truth, reality, and emptiness. But that is not the ultimate truth and emptiness that the nominalists speak of when distinguishing the two truths, because it is pure emptiness, and if one discriminates it, it is refuting conceptualization. Realizing the emptiness that is inseparable from the two truths and possesses all perfections, the object that each individual realizes with their own wisdom is the Dharmadhatu and ultimate emptiness. When it is realized, the object to be realized is distinguished by name as the Dharmadhatu, and the one who realizes it is wisdom, but in reality there is no difference at all. Clear and knowing awareness with the nature of discrimination is the definition of consciousness. Non-discrimination, the self-luminous nature that each individual realizes with their own wisdom is the definition of wisdom. The Dharma-nature of consciousness is wisdom. The ultimate wisdom that completely purifies the two obscurations and their habitual tendencies is the definition of Buddha. From the perspective of wisdom observing the Dharma-nature, it is called the wisdom that knows suchness, and from the perspective of observing all Dharma-nature, it is called the wisdom that knows all that exists, but these are just names established from different perspectives, and their essence is the single omniscient wisdom, without any difference. It is the wisdom that realizes the ultimate reality that is inseparable from the two truths. Therefore, the eight consciousnesses and their Dharma-nature.
