Therefore, it should be understood from the general treatises of the three divisions of Yoga of the Ancient Nyingma school, especially the aspects of Dzogchen, and from the works of the omniscient Dharma King Drime Ozer, which elucidate these. Therefore, the Mahayana Nirvana is not merely a non-affirming non-existence that only exhausts the two obscurations, but the meaning of the luminous, self-nature pure nature of the mind at the ground stage. When it is transformed into the nature body of sudden purity, from the naturally arisen primordial wisdom of the basis of separation, the qualities such as the ten powers, which are the result of being free from the two obscurations, become manifest. This is the true result of separation. This is different from the Hinayana Nirvana, which is merely the non-existence of the exhaustion of samsara. The ground stage is also the nature of reality that transcends the extremes of existence and non-existence, and the result is transformed into the nature of possessing two kinds of purity. Therefore, qualities such as power are inherently present. A sword has the quality of cutting, a clear mirror has the quality of reflecting images, and a jewel has the quality of light and fulfilling desires. These are inherently self-perfected. However, the sword is wrapped in a scabbard, the mirror is covered by a frame, and the jewel is like being covered with mud. If these obscurations are removed, although the qualities are not newly created, they appear as if they are newly created. Then, does the Sugata-garbha, the nature of mind at the ground stage of sentient beings, know all knowable things from its own side? If it is thought that it already knows, then what is the meaning of the manifestation of qualities? If it is thought that it does not know, then how can the quality of knowing all things be inherently present? The nature of mind of all sentient beings is the primordial state of the union of awareness and emptiness. If it is considered from its own perspective, all elaborations such as knowing and not knowing are pacified. For example, the meaning of the samadhi wisdom of the noble ones is just as it is, because it does not deviate from suchness, no appearance of duality appears in it, but because it does not cling to anything, it is inconceivable. Therefore, if one thinks about the meaning of the nature of reality not deviating from the ground, both samsara and nirvana do not deviate from it, and there is no duality, so such naming is impossible because elaboration is pacified. Therefore, the original ground state of Dzogchen, where neither samsara nor nirvana has arisen.

The indication of the ground is also similar to that. Samsara and nirvana, both must arise from it, with the basis appearing and moving, so they are adventitious. Therefore, the ten powers and so on are established from the perspective of distinguishing between Buddha and sentient beings, but in non-duality, there is no such distinction, because "as it is" means non-duality. From the appearance of the basis to the time of not being liberated from the primordial basis, all adventitious stains are not exhausted. When they are exhausted, the basis, without moving from its suchness, manifests the qualities of omniscient knowledge of all things, which is present in the two-fold purity, but not in mere self-nature purity. However, it must be acknowledged that its qualities are inherently present, like the example of a sword and so on. Therefore, it should be known that in the ground state, although the Sugata-garbha has qualities, they are only latent. If we consider it from the perspective of the suchness of reality, there is no duality from the beginning. Therefore, not seeing it as two means knowing it completely, and it cannot be counted as knowing it one by one. Rongzompa and others strongly assert from the perspective of the suchness of reality that the ten powers and so on are other appearances. All wise people should know that this is only measuring from a certain perspective, and in reality, there is no contradiction. When a jewel is completely pure, although there is no conceptual thought, it can produce what is desired. Similarly, although a sword and a mirror have no conceptual thought, cutting and reflecting images are also qualities of their own nature. However, such appearances must depend on objects other than themselves, just as it is impossible to establish that they have the power to cut and manifest desires by their own effort alone. Its three qualities of wisdom, compassion, and power are the measure of all things. For the nature of mind, although it inherently possesses these three qualities, there is no difference between the object of knowledge, the object of compassion, and the object of the application of power. In terms of the nature of becoming equanimity, there is no elaboration of "knowing this, not knowing this, being compassionate to this, not being compassionate, engaging in activity here, not engaging," and so on. Then, does it know the suchness of reality? The answer is that apart from not moving from the suchness of reality, there is no elaboration of knowing or not knowing at all. Because all phenomena encompassed by dualistic appearance do not change from the realm of non-duality even by a particle, therefore, when such non-dual great wisdom becomes the two-fold purity, the one with dualistic appearance
