Therefore, in this way, the paths of Sutra and Tantra are only different in terms of speed, but ultimately converge on the same essential point. In short, the awareness of the unborn, primordially pure ground, in the state of the union of clarity and emptiness, the Dharmakaya, is the arising of the appearance of the clear light Sambhogakaya. Now, through the practice of Tögal and Sordé, and the completion stage of transforming the clear light at the end of the three appearances into the illusory body, it is manifestly established. Therefore, there is no dispute as to whether the Trikaya is spontaneously accomplished or not. And the appearance that it is not the Trikaya of the fruition is due to the power of temporary obscurations that have not been purified. Moreover, since the essence of Dharmata Dhatu is established as being without obscurations from the beginning, the state of the ground and fruition is established as being inseparable, thus the intention of primordial Buddhahood is determined. When the habituation to appearances is perfected, it manifests in a way that the state and appearance are in harmony, thus it is also becoming enlightened again. These two are not contradictory. All elaborations are pure from the beginning or from the very start, and the Dharmata, which is the inseparable resonance of the self-luminous nature, pervades all of Samsara and Nirvana. Because Dharmata can manifest as anything from what is nothing, the equality of Samsara and Nirvana, without distinction, is spontaneously accomplished as the Dharmakaya. Therefore, no matter how the immeasurable magic of the various appearances of Samsara and Nirvana are transformed, they arise only from the activity of consciousness and wisdom. In terms of appearance: When only consciousness acts, it is the impure ground; when consciousness and wisdom act together, it is the path of both impure and pure; when only wisdom acts, it is the extremely pure fruition. These three states are distinct. On the path, according to the general Tantric texts, the completion stage is known as having two aspects: with signs and without signs. The first, meditating on the subtle bindus of Guhyasamaja and all similar things, although it does so, it guides the nature of the completion stage, which is the co-emergent wisdom of meaning. Therefore, it is the name of the fruit applied to the cause, and it is not the actual completion stage, but belongs to the generation stage. The understanding of emptiness, which is guided by the analysis of study and reflection, is established as signless yoga in the outer Tantras, but it is free from the four extremes of elaboration. It is definitely not something that takes cessation and conceptual thought as its object. For beginners, there is no certainty even in the freedom from the four extremes of elaboration.

If someone starts practicing the Completion Stage from a Khutukhtu, what else can be done besides expanding on the negation of that attachment? But such a Completion Stage is not the one spoken of in the tantras, but rather a fabrication of speculation. The formless yoga of Anuttarayoga is the co-emergent wisdom brought about by the melting bliss combining the four joys and four emptinesses, and by experiencing that indivisible bliss and emptiness with one's own awareness, certainty arises about the suchness that is free from the four extremes, but that is only example wisdom, not actual wisdom. Because it is a conceptual object distinguished by changeable bliss and the non-establishment of inherent existence. Actual formlessness is the ultimate clear light emptiness in which all conceptual thoughts cease. It is inherently the co-emergent nature of all dharmas, so if it is experienced, there can be no other emptiness or nature more profound than it. To experience it directly, following inferential analysis is meaningless, just as seeing fire directly, there is no need to indicate it with the sign of smoke. The Completion Stage of Kalachakra is not with signs, but is formless yoga. It is based on the way of looking at darkness and space, but it is not to be focused on with the mind either. Even if the body's posture and way of looking do not change, other mental activities must be abandoned. However, because there is activity of body and mind, if one follows the lower tantras, the path of non-activity seems easier, but compared to Dzogchen, it is still with activity. Nevertheless, it is much easier and deeper than the path of guiding clear light, actual wisdom through subtle channels, etc. If the signs of clear light are seen, one can control the winds, and by the melting bliss, ultimately obtain unchanging bliss, and the union of supreme emptiness, which is the co-emergent wisdom of actual meaning. Example wisdom is mixed with aspects of consciousness, compounded phenomena, and conceptual thought. This (co-emergent wisdom) is the nature of wisdom, uncompoundedness, and non-conceptualization, therefore it is the suchness of all dharmas, inherently the co-emergent ultimate truth. If this were compounded, it would have to belong to the phenomena of atoms and moments, but because it transcends these, it is the bliss of unchanging nature. If bliss is a feeling, how can it be permanent? Although its essence is momentary, it is not continuous permanence.
