Not only other realms, but it also appears that one has confidence in oneself. The sutra that gathers and explains eight profound meanings like this is: "Emptiness, signlessness," etc., one shloka. The eight, such as profound in birth, are also understood as the great taste of appearance and emptiness being equal, which is the key point. All dharmas appear here as they are, originally without arising or ceasing, abiding in the state of having three liberations. When practicing the Dharma, one does not touch the actual non-existent nirvana, which is one-sidedly peaceful, and does not cling to any dharma as a sign, but abides in the profound wisdom of being free from extremes. This is called being shown by the example of listening. If divided from the perspective of the realm, it will become eight profound meanings, as previously explained. In some commentaries, this shloka and the following shloka are combined into samsara-nirvana equality, and the eight profound meanings are not explained separately. Now, mainly from the perspective of obtaining the special union of Dakpo (Dagpo), obtaining the three kayas of the result, as the first of the three that are separately established as causes, samsara-nirvana equality is: The dharmas of samsara and nirvana appear but have no self-nature, because they are like dreams. All dharmas should be known individually by one's own wisdom. Appearance and emptiness are equal, and they exist in the inexpressible realm of reality in the same way, without any difference. Therefore, one does not discriminate between samsara and peace, and does not have discriminating thoughts. This is the union of samsara-nirvana equality. The sutra that explains this is: "The Bodhi of such practice," etc., one verse. As mentioned above, such practice of profound three liberations, not abiding in the extremes of samsara and nirvana, the equality of the bodhisattvas who practice, have the ten powers, therefore they are prophesied, and there is no arrogance of thinking that they have attained bodhi. Because knowing that the nature of samsara itself is nirvana, for this equality, there is nothing to be removed or obtained. Therefore, for the bodhi without removal or establishment, one is not afraid of the nature of space, and comprehends equality. In the extensive sutras, for the dharmas being like dreams, since that is the case, the accusations of good and bad karma having no benefit or harm, etc., are also answered. In the ultimate truth, the equality of dharmata has no arising or ceasing, no increase or decrease, and is completely pure. Although this is the case, for the individual who has not understood in this way and possesses all bonds, self-
