Will attain the supreme state of perfect peace. Second, the absence of the practice of the path: The meaning of the two verses, such as bodhicitta, is: When any bodhisattva practices the path as described above, the fact that my continuum abides in peace has been prophesied by the tathagatas of the past to be unsurpassed and perfect enlightenment. Such a bodhisattva will not have the pride of "I have entered into emptiness or have arisen from it," why is that? Because he has fully understood the equality of the dharmata, the non-duality of the nature of all dharmas. To practice in this way is to practice the wisdom of the Sugatas. Because the bodhisattva fully knows that there is nothing to practice for any dharma, that is the supreme practice. No matter what dharma is practiced, such as the path, and the practitioner, they will not become objects of focus. Such a practice is the practice of the supreme prajnaparamita. Third, meaning and metaphor. First, the meaning of the verse such as whatever exists: When it is shown that none of these dharmas exist by their own nature, and that whatever can be called dharma is without self-nature, then ordinary people who are attached to names and signs, after analyzing and researching, either cling to the extreme of adding existence, or cling to the extreme of denying non-existence, and cannot comprehend the reality that is free from extremes. For the true meaning, both existence and non-existence are equally unobservable dharmas. The meaning of non-abiding union, which is free from all the elaborations of ordinary people's imputations such as existence and non-existence, is that all extremes and aspects of acceptance are pacified, and each is to be realized by oneself. Any bodhisattva who understands the meaning of the dharmadhatu that does not cling to the two extremes of existence and non-existence will surely be liberated from all extremes. Second, the meaning of the verse such as whatever aggregates are here: When anyone is practicing the path, he knows that all dharmas represented by the five aggregates are like illusions that appear but are not real. And there, illusions

Without other thoughts, regarding the aggregates as other objects, not clinging to the difference between the truth and falsehood of the two, knowing that the five aggregates are equal to illusion, dreams, and so on. Being free from various concepts of clinging to self and phenomena, and acting in the state of cessation of elaboration, this is acting in the supreme Prajnaparamita. Second, the difference of the spiritual friend, there are two aspects: affirmation and negation. First, the meaning of the two lines "virtuous friend" and so on. Here, the Bodhisattvas are not turned away from the path of the supreme vehicle because they possess both outer and inner support. What are the outer and inner supports? The outer support is the virtuous friend who shows that all phenomena are without self-nature through the gate of wisdom, and shows the way to dedicate all roots of virtue to the omniscient wisdom through the gate of skillful means. The inner support is that one possesses the mind of wanting to attain omniscience oneself, and possesses the superior insight of the purity of the three spheres. Such a Bodhisattva, after hearing the profound Prajnaparamita, the mother of all Buddhas, will never be afraid, and will be able to endure the meaning of Prajnaparamita. Second, the meaning of the two lines "whoever" and so on. Contrary to what was just said, if a beginner possesses an evil friend who slanders the meaning of the supreme vehicle, and one's own wisdom is immature and relies on others, that is, depends on others, then just as an untreated container breaks upon contact with water, one will turn away from the path of the supreme vehicle. Third, the meaning of the term Bodhisattva, there are two meanings: the meaning of the term Bodhisattva and the meaning of the term great-hearted Bodhisattva. First, the meaning of the four lines "why is this" and so on. Why is this person called a Bodhisattva? Because he follows the nature of the Dharmadhatu, and through the gate of wisdom such as hearing, he cuts off all manifest clinging or attachment to all phenomena such as form, and desires to completely abandon the conceptual thoughts and their seeds that arise from clinging to all knowable phenomena as true, and ultimately touches the unattached great Bodhi of the Buddhas, therefore this person obtains the name Bodhisattva.
