Even the so-called "clear light" is examined and analyzed, and because it does not abide in any extreme, no phenomenon is found to be truly established in its own nature. Thus, having heard the words that reveal the profound nature of the dharmadhatu, which does not abide in any dharma and transcends all objects of perception, without the ignorance of clinging to it as true, thinking "it is not so," and without manifest fear of the teaching of emptiness, that bodhisattva who has realized the inseparability of emptiness and appearance, and who has mastered the union of the two truths, is one who is endowed with the fortune to practice the profound wisdom that has been realized and taught by the Sugata. Secondly, there are two: the object of knowledge is not found, and the knowing wisdom is not found. Firstly, there are two: meaning and example. Firstly, one verse, beginning with "formless," thus: If one examines with the wisdom that investigates ultimate truth, all that appears as the five faculties and the five objects, which are included in the aggregate of form, are accumulations and collections of many particles. For that which is accumulated from many, there is no truly established essence of being coarse or round. Even for that subtle particle, if one examines whether it has directional parts or not, the particle itself is not truly established. Therefore, one should know that this form is of a nature that appears but is not true. Similarly, all feelings of pleasure, pain, or equanimity, whether belonging to oneself or others, if one examines their nature of being many and impermanent, not even a single extremely subtle part is truly established. Likewise, the aggregate of perception and the mental formations, that is, the formations, are also not established by their own nature at all. In such a way, the place or basis of consciousness is not even the size of a particle, because the mind and mental factors exist in various states, and therefore it is impossible for one of them to be true. For phenomena that arise and cease in an instant, the part without an end of time is not established when examining the earlier and later parts. Thus, these five aggregates, if not examined, are merely pleasant appearances, but if examined and analyzed, they are not established in any form, whether subtle or coarse, and therefore they appear as non-existent, like dreams, illusions, water moons, and so forth. Thus, gathered

All conditioned and unconditioned dharmas, from their own side, do not have the slightest establishment, relying on the power of causes and conditions, they merely appear as non-deceptive appearances. Regarding this very appearance, if one examines it with the intellect that seeks suchness, one knows that due to the function of conceptual thought, one merely establishes various selves and dharmas in the mind, but apart from that, one cannot find even a particle of true existence. When this certainty arises, the Bodhisattva will not abide in all knowable dharmas in an clinging manner. With the certainty of not clinging to any extreme, one who possesses excellent view is one who acts without abiding in anything, or acts without abiding. As it is said in the scriptures, not seeing anything is the true view. Similarly, one should understand the meaning of all such statements as abiding without abiding, acting without acting, and so on. Thus, understanding that all dharmas of samsara and nirvana are without self-nature, like illusions, is the certainty of subsequent attainment like illusions. This is the pure ultimate truth view that has conceptual mind as its object. For beginners, it is very important to familiarize themselves with this. As for the true, ultimate reality, non-self-nature, illusion-like, etc., all these objects of mind that follow words and conceptual thoughts are dharmas that are falsely established by conceptual thought, and they are all conventional truths and false. The nature of the ultimate truth is not the unconditioned true nature of reality, therefore, appearance and emptiness, conventional truth and ultimate truth, all these dualistic dharmas should be realized by one's own wisdom as the non-dual dharmadhatu, the non-conceptual ultimate truth. Transcending all objects of words and conceptual thoughts, in the state of meditative equipoise, all dharmas from the very beginning have no arising or ceasing, no acceptance or rejection, and appear with the nature of equality, like the center of the sky. This is the great mother of all Buddhas of the three times and their retinues, the reality of the unborn dharmadhatu, the nature of self-luminous, ultimate bodhicitta, the ultimate essence of all dharmas, therefore, it is extremely important to enter this principle with unwavering certainty. As it is said, Rahula
