If this merit is completely dedicated, then of course there will also be immeasurable benefits. However, if one diligently engages in the supreme Prajñāpāramitā, not to mention a long time, even for just one day, if one is in accordance with that Prajñāpāramitā, that is, thinking for oneself and teaching others, etc., then his merit, the accumulation of generosity mentioned above, cannot even compare to the rain of merit. Therefore, it is very necessary to engage in this Prajñāpāramitā constantly without negligence. Second, Prajñāpāramitā, etc., one verse: Those yogis who practice the supreme Prajñāpāramitā, even if they generate great compassion for all beings, will not have the perception of sentient beings. In this way, when he has unconditioned great compassion, those wise ones become the supreme place of generosity for all beings, and constantly performing alms rounds, etc., in all places is a meaningful enjoyment, because offering to them has great meaning. Third, Bodhicitta, etc., one verse: Any Bodhisattva, in order to liberate sentient beings of the five realms—gods, humans, and the three lower realms—who have been connected as parents, children, etc., for a long time from this place of samsara, from bondage and suffering, relies on that broad path, that is, the path from which the three bodhi arise and which opens opportunities for immeasurable sentient beings, wanting to show the realm of sentient beings the other shore of samsara—nirvana, therefore, day and night, one must diligently engage in Prajñāpāramitā. If one diligently engages in this, one will become a teacher who speaks of immeasurable Buddha-dharma. Second, how to be diligent. Someone in the past, etc., two verses: For example, someone who has never obtained a supreme jewel that he had never obtained before, obtains it at another time, and is very happy in his heart. However, as soon as he obtains it, he becomes careless, and as a result, he loses that jewel. Because he lost that rare treasure, he is always in pain, and the desire to obtain that jewel appears in his mind. Similarly, entering the supreme path of bodhi is like obtaining a rare jewel.

Like auspiciousness itself. One should not abandon the practice of this perfection of wisdom. For example, after losing it, later finding the jewel again, joyfully taking it back, diligently wrapping it in the corners of clothes and other things, hiding it without wasting it, and because of fear of losing it and being robbed by others, quickly returning to one's own home, just as the sorrow of being separated from the jewel and the suffering of poverty are all pacified. Third, the benefits of such effort are fivefold: overcoming other practices, becoming the hope of gods and humans, defeating demons, gathering all perfections, and the benefit of others rejoicing in its virtue. First, the sun, clouds, etc., are two verses. For example, the rays of the sun, free from clouds, destroy the thick darkness with nets and all other darkness, and when it appears, the fireflies with faint light on one side of their bodies, and all the creatures that illuminate the surroundings by the power of their own light and lamps, etc., the slightly visible stars, and the light of the moon, which is mostly visible, all four lights are overwhelmed. Similarly, the Bodhisattva who practices the supreme perfection of wisdom, like the sun free from the obscuring clouds, is skilled in the practice of emptiness and signlessness, and illuminates the net of the supreme light of Dharma by destroying all the thick darkness of seeing self and Dharma, like all beings like fireflies, and Arhats like other beings, and Pratyekabuddhas like stars, and other Bodhisattvas like the moon, they all lack the skillful means of this perfection of wisdom, and are greatly overwhelmed, and through the gate of wisdom, surpass all other practices that do not possess this wisdom. Second, for example, the king, etc., are two verses. For example, a king's son who gives wealth to protect the people, and who is proficient in the Dharma, hopes to fully govern the country, that is, knowing the meaning and having a meaningful state, not being meaningless, that is, becoming the chief of all the Buddhas, all the people...
