Judging by such standards will cause one to degenerate from the qualities one has attained and those one has not. Therefore, it is said that no one should judge another except for myself and those like me. Bodhisattvas should not seek the faults of others but should realize their own minds. This is what is said in the sutras. Secondly, explaining the method of abandoning the works of Mara, there are two parts: a summary and a detailed explanation. The first part, starting with "Therefore," is one verse. Since many works of Mara arise when seeking the path, therefore, in order to avert these, one should rely on outer and inner support. What is that like? The one who relies should have a strong intention to seek supreme enlightenment and be skilled in the means to achieve it. How to rely? One must destroy the pride in one's own mind and treat virtuous friends with great respect, just as a group of patients rely on a good doctor to cure their illnesses. When listening to the Dharma, one should also be like this: one is the patient, the Dharma speaker is the doctor, the Dharma is the medicine, and diligent practice is the cure. With these four perceptions, one should rely on them without distraction. Who should one rely on? One should rely on virtuous friends, where "virtuous" here refers to the Dharma of the Great Vehicle. The one who can explain the Dharma well is the virtuous friend. Because he can correctly point out the path, can recognize the obstacles to the path - the works of Mara, and by pointing out the method of overcoming Mara, he can prevent practitioners from falling from the path, so he can support practitioners. Therefore, one should rely on such a virtuous friend. The second part explains the two supports, outer and inner, and explains the inner support in detail. The first part, starting with "Buddha Bodhi," is one verse. Who is the virtuous friend to rely on? It is like this: one should rely on the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-bhagavans, and the Bodhisattvas who have entered supreme enlightenment, together with the path - the Paramitas, as virtuous friends. Among them, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas can show this Great Vehicle Dharma to others, so they are called outer support. The path they point out - the Paramitas, is the place or abode where one should practice or cultivate, so it is called inner support. Like this,

Among them, the inner reliance refers to not falling from the path of the supreme vehicle to other paths. Therefore, relying on these two causes of reliance will quickly realize the Bodhi of the Buddha, because it is a complete and perfect cause. Secondly, the inner reliance is explained in detail, divided into: how Prajnaparamita is a spiritual friend, and how to rely on a spiritual friend. First, such as "The Victorious One has passed away" and other verses. Although Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are generally regarded as virtuous friends, if one wants to know how Prajnaparamita becomes a virtuous friend, then the perfect and complete Buddhas who have appeared in the past, as well as the Buddhas who have not yet appeared in the future, and the Buddhas who have now become Buddhas and abide in the ten directions, the path of these three-time Buddhas is this Prajnaparamita, and not others. Because without relying on Prajnaparamita, there is no other path to Buddhahood, because without the wisdom to realize the equality of samsara and nirvana, other paths cannot achieve Buddhahood. Therefore, it can be said with certainty that Prajnaparamita is the light, lamp, manifestation, and supreme teacher of beings who enter the path of supreme Bodhi. As the Buddhas said, in order: to declare the selflessness of the individual, to declare the selflessness of phenomena, to declare all phenomena of the world and beyond the world, and finally to declare the path of Bodhi of all-knowingness, the fruit of . Secondly, it is divided into: the nature of Prajnaparamita to be relied upon, and the exhortation that it must be relied upon. First, it is divided into the main text, and the rebuttal that if everything becomes Bodhi, it is unreasonable. First, how is wisdom, etc., one verse. In the "Holy Eight Thousand Verses", when asked about the nature of Prajnaparamita, the answer is: Prajnaparamita is the nature of emptiness. The nature of name is not shown, but the nature of ultimate truth is shown, for example, visible things are the nature of color, etc., the situation of name.
