If it ceases without stopping, then each and every moment of mind cannot give rise to Bodhi, therefore some argue that the arising of the qualities of Bodhi, which are attained through বহু eons of practice, is not reasonable in name. To this, the answer is: Although all conditioned phenomena are momentary, when the moments that serve as causes have passed, their results are unavoidable, this is the nature of dependent origination. For example, in the world, sprouts arise from seeds, and from those sprouts arise stems, flowers, and fruits in sequence. Although at the time of the fruit, each of their causes has ceased, it is not the case that the seed has ceased and its fruit, the tree, has also disappeared. Even though the seed has ceased, the fruits, sprouts, and so on, appear in sequence. Similarly, when examining the fruit of the path, it is the same example. The initial arising of the mind, or the first mind, is also the cause of Bodhi. It is not the case that even though that mind has ceased, the fruit of its lineage, Bodhi, does not exist. In the manner of infallible cause and effect, from the earlier and later causes of the stages of the path, obtaining the fruit of Bodhi is infallibly present. Second, from obtaining the seed onwards, is one verse. Thus, the principle of dependent origination is: If one obtains a seed that possesses the conditions capable of producing its own fruit, then various grains and rice, and so on, will arise as fruits. The fruit of that seed is not inherently present in the seed itself, nor is it without the possibility of arising, because if it were inherently present, there would be no need for a cause, and if there were no possibility of arising, then the cause would be meaningless. If that is the case, examining its nature, although it is free from the nature of things such as existence and non-existence, it appears in an unfailing manner in the form of illusion and so on, this is the principle of the Dharma of dependent origination. In that manner, the Bodhi of the Victorious Ones also arises due to dependent origination. If one examines it, because it is free from the nature of truly established things, one should understand that it will appear like an illusion. Second, it is reasonable that the qualities are complete. Water droplets, etc.

One verse says that since all things are momentary and cannot be accumulated, even if one becomes accustomed to them for countless eons, it is impossible to gather together and increase, so how can one obtain the fruit of perfect enlightenment that is complete with all virtues? Even if all things are momentary, since the former mind relies on the latter mind, it transforms into a special virtue, and ultimately there will be a complete virtue. For example, when water droplets accumulate from one drop to many drops and fill a vase, from the first drop to the last, gradually, little by little, the vase is completely filled. Just like that, if we consider the gradual completion of the generation of mind in the ten grounds and five paths, then attaining Buddhahood is also the same. In the stage of faith and practice, the very first generation of mind is also the cause of supreme enlightenment. Although it alone cannot perfect the virtues, by gradually and increasingly perfecting the white virtues, one will eventually attain Buddhahood, just as one drop of water cannot fill a vase, but many drops can fill it. Because it cannot be filled with one drop, the moment of generating mind is completed by filling with many drops, and it becomes an example of attaining Buddhahood. The water's things are also momentary, but just as the continuous accumulation of drops fills a vase, the continuous moment of mind makes the latter mind more special than the former, and it should be understood in that way. Second, how to practice the profound Dharma? It is divided into two: the main practice and its merits. First, emptiness, signlessness, etc., one verse says that just as all dharmas are empty in their own nature, therefore, all views that look at it are the meaning of complete pacification. Like that, since there is no basis or cause to look at, all discriminations and delusions are the meaning of complete abandonment. Because of this, there is no attachment to it or desire for the fruit, therefore, it is the meaning of being free from all desires of the three realms. Like that, practice the profound Dharma that understands the three doors of liberation, the equality of samsara and nirvana. Through its power, one will not touch nirvana on the side of leaning towards peace, nor will one practice the sign of clinging to reality in samsara, such as hearing the learned wise men like the ocean
