In summary, there are two types: the concise teaching and the extensive explanation. First, one verse concerning Bodhisattvas, etc.: Any Bodhisattva who realizes the Dharma-nature or suchness to be realized, its essence being so profound. Abiding in the state of non-conceptualization and non-attachment in the ultimate realm of the supreme Mahayana. Like this, realizing this profound Dharma that is not composed of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, then, what else could be superior to the perfectly accomplished merit from this? This is the most excellent merit that is perfectly accomplished. Second, the benefits of remembering, upholding, and subsequently meditating on this profound Dharma, and the benefits of viewing such merit as illusory, are fourfold. First, one verse concerning, for example, desire, etc.: That is, as stated in the extensive sutras: "Whoever abides in this profound place endowed with Prajnaparamita, through thought, measurement, and ascertainment, as taught in the Prajnaparamita, even if they practice yoga for just one day, then, how much work does that one day do?" For example, indulging in desire, etc., until abandoning the faults of turning away from samsara for such eons and turning away from perfect Bodhi, one does such deeds. As it is said, here too: For example, a man whose mind indulges in the Dharma of desire makes an appointment with a woman, and if they fail to meet, then various thoughts will continuously arise in that man's mind throughout that day, and driven by attachment, he will repeatedly think of that object. Like this, the merit accumulated in as many eons as there are moments of such mental activity will also be obtained by a Bodhisattva who practices yoga on this Dharma for one day. Each moment of thought can gather immeasurable accumulations of merit. Second, one verse concerning Bodhisattvas, etc.: Any Bodhisattva who, for countless billions of eons, makes offerings to Arhats and Pratyekabuddhas, etc., or makes offerings for the sake of the fruits of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas.

Even if one practices generosity and maintains pure morality, any other dharma that possesses the supreme perfection of wisdom, even just reciting its merits for one day, cannot be matched by generosity and morality. Third, one verse about Bodhisattvas: Any Bodhisattva who cultivates the supreme perfection of wisdom in equipoise, and after arising from that, in the subsequent attainment, speaks of the undefiled dharma that accords with their own cultivation, that is, speaks of the dharma without faults such as attachment to characteristics, or speaks of the dharma that is not defiled by thoughts of seeking gain and honor. Such a dharma teaching, if dedicated as a cause for supreme enlightenment for the benefit of beings, then that virtue is unmatched in the three realms of below the earth, above the earth, and above the above. Fourth, one verse about that merit: Thus, although there are immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable merits in name for thinking about and explaining the perfection of wisdom, in ultimate truth, merit is also without inherent existence. Thus, the merit arising from explaining and so on is also "གསོག་(Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning)" because its own nature is not established; similarly, it is emptiness because it is empty in the manner of suffering and so on; it is "གསོ་བ་(Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning)" because it is without characteristics; it is "ཡ་མ་བརླ་(Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning)" because it does not establish by its own nature but arises dependently; it is without essence because it is separated from what is to be grasped by the object. Having understood this, if one practices the wisdom perfection of the Sugatas in this way, then at the time of practicing that practice, one will fully hold immeasurable merit. Here, it is "གསོག་(Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning)" because it is without self-characteristics, and the three, emptiness and so on, are emptiness. It is "གསོག་(Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning)" because of the three, "emptiness emptiness" and so on. The five, "conditioned emptiness" and so on, are "གསོབ་བོ(Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning)". It is also said that it is without essence because of "inherent existence emptiness" and so on. In reality, regarding the way things are without inherent existence, from the opposite perspective, many are accumulated, and it is "གསོག་(Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning)" because it is like something loose and without stability; it is "གསོབ་(Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning)" like an artificial image made like a lion and so on; it is "ཡ་མ་བརླ་(Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning)" because it cannot stand on its own and depends on others, it is false and unreliable, and so on. These are shown by various names of false words.
