The first part of the second chapter is explained by six shlokas. Among them, the first two shlokas are a general explanation, and the remaining four shlokas are a detailed explanation. First, regarding the uninterrupted peak of learning, this is the most supreme of all learning, because it is the ultimate essence of learning. Therefore, those who wish to reach the other shore of all learning should study this Prajnaparamita, which is the essence of the Buddha's uninterrupted path. Because from this, the wisdom of knowing all things immediately arises. Therefore, this is the supreme treasure of Dharma from which all the infinite Dharma doors of all the Buddhas of the three times arise. It is also the source of immeasurable precious qualities such as strength, and it is also a sacred Dharma treasury. It is the lineage of the Buddhas, the unobstructed true cause, or the uninterrupted lineage of the Buddhas of the ten directions. It is also an inexhaustible treasure of temporary happiness and ultimate benefit or well-being for limitless beings. Second, a detailed explanation: Because ultimate Suchness is not obscured even by subtle obscurations, and Buddhahood is attained by entering into the non-dual equality. Therefore, like that one who has become the mother of the Buddhas of the three times, she will never be exhausted, and is an analogy for the arising of many Buddhas. Explaining with the analogy of external interdependence, there are two verses of analogy and meaning, such as trees and fruits, etc. Explaining with the analogy of internal interdependence of arising and ceasing, there are two verses such as lower, middle, and higher beings. Second, the essence of the uninterrupted peak, which possesses such qualities, is one verse, such as a certain Bodhisattva, that is, any constant Bodhisattva who, on the previous paths, has repeatedly familiarized himself with the true meaning with mindfulness, when he is completely perfected, with regard to all dharmas included in dependent arising, knowing or manifesting this ultimate wisdom that abides in equality without arising or ceasing from the beginning, with that wisdom that pacifies even the subtlest appearances of elaboration, just as the sun, without the obscuration of clouds, radiates light and dispels darkness, the beginningless non-

By crushing and grinding the tiny seeds the size of mustard seeds, one will attain the Buddha fruit with the body of self-born wisdom. This is the teaching of the unobstructed path to the ultimate wisdom of non-cessation and non-arising. Now, regarding this pinnacle of the unobstructed path, those who strongly assert existence continuously refute it, because it is extremely profound, so it is very difficult to realize the meaning within it. Among them, the sutra extensively explains sixteen kinds of arguments for refuting and eliminating wrong views. That is: If the Tathagata observes all dharmas with wisdom, then the objects of observation will become conditioned dharmas, etc. If there is not even a particle of the object of observation as the nature of these dharmas, then it is impossible to see all dharmas, therefore observation is unreasonable, this is the first refutation; If all dharmas do not have a nature to be observed, then it is also impossible to determine the nature of freedom from elaboration or suchness. If so, then no one can understand it, therefore determining its aspect or nature is unreasonable, this is the second refutation; The fruit of omniscient wisdom is also unreasonable, because it does not observe existence or non-existence, so it does not understand anything, therefore the wisdom of omniscience is unreasonable, this is the third argument; Since there is no conventional truth, therefore the ultimate truth does not exist either, because it is impossible for the ultimate truth not to depend on the conventional truth, so it is considered unreasonable to have the ultimate truth. Also, the conventional truth is unreasonable, because these are not observed, so it is considered unreasonable to have the conventional truth, this is the argument against the two truths, this is the fourth; The practice of the six paramitas is also unreasonable, because there is no giving, etc., so it is considered unreasonable to practice, this is the fifth argument; The support of practice, the Three Jewels, does not exist, because there is no Buddha Jewel who can attain and realize, this is the sixth argument; Cessation and path are just names, therefore the Dharma Jewel cannot exist, this is the seventh argument; The basis of the Sangha, form, etc., does not exist, therefore it is refuted that the Sangha Jewel does not exist, this is the eighth refutation; The skillful means of the distinction of conduct is also unreasonable, because it is not held by the wisdom of the three wheels of giving, etc., so it is considered unreasonable to have skillful means, this is the ninth refutation; Since the discrimination of existence and non-existence is prevented, it is considered that there is no other way to realize it, therefore it is refuted that the Thubpa's (Buddha's) direct realization of suchness is unreasonable, this is the tenth refutation; Holding onto impermanence, etc., is not inverted.
