Everything is primordially peaceful and has passed into Nirvana. To know this is an excellent view. However, those who cling to the appearances of things as real, and wander around the edges of acceptance and rejection, with the delusion of wanting to achieve their own happiness, dwelling in contaminated dharmas, are born again and again in samsara, and those who grasp the aggregates of existence with craving, by their very nature, sink into the ocean of suffering. Alas! Although there is no suffering here, they float in the river of suffering by the power of their minds. Like the suffering in a dream caused by sleep, it is one's own experience. Having seen this, the noble ones who see the truth take the form of compassion in the illusory existence, and proclaim the thunder of the noble Dharma, awakening beings from the sleep of suffering. Here, there is no external agent who gives or takes away suffering, but because of the ignorance of one's own mind, one wanders in samsara. The truth of the noble ones is the supreme medicine. Relying on this truth, destroying the lord of the great city of samsara, the enemy of pervasive thought, who is transformed by ignorance, one will then go to a place of no fear. Thus, the eternally peaceful and cool place, the supreme city of Nirvana, the power of compassion and illusion that places all beings, will expand as vast as the sky. Having understood this, now in this existence, weary of experiencing meaningless suffering, cutting off attachment to both samsara and nirvana, strive to see the self-nature of illusion. Even if you know, if you do not diligently practice, the habits of beginningless delusion will be difficult to reverse, and you will always remain in a state of suffering as before. Therefore, day and night, abandoning other thoughts, for those who wander in samsara due to delusion, cut off the root of delusion in the depths of the mind, and realize that everything is meaningless and reveals its self-nature. If you practice this again and again, the true meaning and the inverted mind are as contradictory as light and darkness, so the powerful antidote will overwhelm the appearance of delusion. If a false thought has the power to torment oneself in samsara, how much more so to turn towards the true meaning.
