On the ground. Although the methods for accomplishing wrathful mantras and prideful deities are taught, these are meant to be used as branches for protecting the teachings, It is said that they should be practiced with skillful means and compassion. Primarily, according to the tenets of the Great Vehicle, the generation and perfection of the two Bodhicitta, and especially the path of the Clear Light Vajra Pinnacle, countless Dharma treasures of essential practices are taught. Having set aside those profound Dharma treasuries that are meaningful to see, hear, remember, and touch, who has imposed upon you the task of perversely accomplishing wrathful mantras and prideful deities? Be exceedingly compassionate towards sentient beings, cherish the precious Buddha's teachings more than your own life, and liberate beings to the best of your ability, without clinging to your own desires. The conduct of those whose realization is complete is like a star in the daytime. With a mind that cherishes oneself and harms others, without the intention of liberation, hurling curses of evil, and randomly shooting arrows of poisonous wrathful mantras, is said to be the behavior of a perverted liberator. For the profound union and liberation of secret mantras, if one does not possess the essential points of profound realization and conduct, engaging in them at will will turn into a wrong path, as advised in the teachings of the victorious Vidyadhara lineage. This life is like a play of lightning, If you practice the path of mantra desiring your own happiness, you should not strive to accomplish ruin in this life and ruin in the next, why not strive to accomplish happiness in this life and happiness in the next? Therefore, it is not wrong to offer and accomplish prideful deities, It is not forbidden, but in addition to the recitation and accomplishment of the Yidam, and striving for virtuous deeds, do a little bit, but do not strive specifically. Likewise, fierce mantras and fierce actions, if one possesses the realization and conduct of profound mantras, it is more profound than all actions and knowledge mantras, but mostly it is not done for the sake of this life. If that happens, by using mantras perversely, you will experience the coarse results of karma in this life and the next, again and again, what is the need for that? Therefore, wouldn't you prefer happiness in this life and happiness in the next? Even if you do not rely on prideful deities or practice fierce mantras, those who remain silent are not often harmed by enemies and demons. Those who rely on prideful deities and practice fierce mantras, are not free from being harmed by enemies and obstacles. Merely eliminating the disease of the brain of other sentient beings, the altruistic intention to remove it is a vast quality, because it comes from the Buddha's teachings, therefore, with good thoughts, even a little bit of virtue

Alas! Due to the fear of self-appearing enemies rising up as demonic foes, Those who habitually harbor hatred, constantly day and night, For subduing enemies, vanquishing obstacles, and engaging in evil curses and thoughts, how can they have the opportunity for happiness in this life and well-being in the next? Therefore, this principle of unerring cause and effect, Among the teachings of the King (Buddha), the practice of Dharma, Knowing it as the one indispensable thing, those who desire their own happiness should rely on the cause of virtue. If one has the cause for the ripening of happiness within oneself, There is no need to worship gods or strike demons; one's wishes will be fulfilled. If one does not possess the fortune of happiness within oneself, What is the use of striving hundreds of thousands of times to worship gods and banish demons? Therefore, for those arrogant and powerful beings, It is good for yogis who uphold their vows according to the scriptures, To offer and practice according to the texts, but more importantly, It is crucial to rely on the Three Roots (Guru, Yidam, Dakini) deities. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who have perfected the two accumulations, Even just remembering the names of the great beings, is of great benefit for this life and the next, Therefore, whether in happiness or suffering, rely on them. Even if one strives one's whole life in making offerings and relying, If one does not see accomplishments but sees only perversity, Like a mantra practitioner tossed about in a turbulent wave, Mostly they are deluded and wander, bewildered by self-appearing gods and demons. Although one strives greatly during one's lifetime, One's life ends in poverty with little happiness, and Due to the force of karma, one is born as a servant of gods and demons, Wandering through cities, constantly acting as a flesh-eating demon. Thus, one session of reciting the Yidam mantra, And cultivating the mind, Bodhicitta, pure white virtuous accumulations, If one cannot practice this in one morning, And constantly enjoys beating drums and worshipping gods and demons, Consider what the result of your efforts will be. If it is for the sake of this life, in this life, If this does not arise and that does not happen, and life is wasted, Consider what legacy you will have at the time of death. If some village mantra practitioners of that sort, Slightly gain some fame for their power and mantras, It is only to raise their status among small friends, There is nothing more amazing than that. Thus, instead of striving for small things, If one strives on the path of pure Dharma, then in this life and the next, Therefore, great happiness and fame will increase. Therefore, consider whether you are not making yourself small. I, due to my own past habits, And following the traditions of my ancestors, Although I am very fond of and strive to worship arrogant beings and practice fierce mantras, But the Lama
