Seated. Youthful form, reddish-yellow and pleasing, To Manjushri, I offer my prayers. All Buddhas pour light upon your head, Heroes, heroines, and wrathful hosts, And the chief of the retinue who protect the world, To Manjushri, I offer my prayers. Of all the Tathagatas, Supreme essence of wisdom vajra, Possessing the power of the ten strengths, To Manjushri. To all sentient beings pervading space, Always gazing with great compassion, Completely eliminating all decline, To Manjushri, I offer my prayers. Whatever prayers are offered to you, All hopes are fulfilled as desired, Supreme among the powerful with the ten powers, To Manjushri, I offer my prayers. Pure and excellent meaning of reality, Great fortune in the three realms, Possessing all glorious wealth, Manjushri, supreme with glory. Through the power of praying to you, May obstacles and unwanted hindrances be pacified, May all wishes be spontaneously accomplished as desired, Grant the supreme and common attainments. I prostrate to the feet of Tara, the swift and courageous one, who embodies wisdom and acts as a mother. From enemies, lions, and powerful elephants, from fire and the master of hunger, from thieves who bind with snares, From the turmoil of the waters and the flesh-eating demons, from the fear of death, from diseases and the harm of the senses, From poverty, separation from women, and the fear of conflicts among people, and from the fall of the vajra and the loss of meaning, Whichever yoginis remember your feet day and night, they will utterly decline in these things. I take refuge in you, the ultimate truth, who possesses clouds of compassion in the sky of Dharma-nature, pervading all directions and times. Infallible protector, You are the supreme abode; when your intention is invoked in time, through the unobstructed power of blessings, Protect us, your only child, protect us, O Bhagavati, essence of supreme wisdom, love, and power! Dispel all misfortunes with your hands of benefit and happiness, and draw forth the essence of immortal, supreme peace from the sphere of your mind.
