Of. The excellent biography is like the expanse of the sky, Filled with abundance, who can compete? Even if not achieved by one's own intellect, Merely following after fame, Like a cliff-like reciter, Many fight like a swarm of bees. Those who strut with the arrogance of logic, Without finding the secret essence of logic, Like water in a narrow gorge, In the midst of fools, they prevail by argument. You, to the vast scriptures, With a biography of mastery, Hold the lineage of the essential secret essence, Like Mount Meru, without doubt. The white umbrella of the wise is raised high, Of the treatises composed by hundreds of intelligent ones, All the heavy burdens, difficult in the teachings, That have been lifted with effort, When they reach your presence, Like gold refined by fire, In order to eliminate any faults that have become impure, You easily realize them. The deeper it is, The secret essence of the heart of the sutras and tantras, The more so, You hold the wonder of the wise. The places of knowledge, both outer and inner, Universally followed, Possessing wisdom like the sky, You are a treasure of Dharma, a treasury of Dharma. Although there are many who are known as wise, Few are like you, Possessing the rays of the sun of wisdom, free from the darkness of doubt, A pure intelligence. Instantly resolving hundreds of difficult points in the profound scriptures, Speaking excellent explanations, Like striking the sky with a sword, It is amazing that there is no opportunity for refutation. All the words and meanings composed by anyone, Are profound, clear, and melodious, With hundreds of radiant perfect qualities, Supreme among all excellent explanations. Even if ascending to high views, Thinking of the immaculate eye of the teachings, Maintaining the conduct of a pure biography, Is the sacred tradition of the upholders of the teachings. Even so, under this teaching, With various noisy behaviors, Taking the path of the two stages, As the core to cling to, Many are those who disturb the Buddha's teachings. With the power of conduct that overwhelms the appearance of others, Gradually losing clothing and behavior, etc., Contrary to the tantras, they increase disbelief. Such a group of outcastes with evil conduct, Is very numerous in this world. Even for genuine mantra yogis, In order to create doubt, demons will manifest. You are like a vase filled with the profound two stages, Completely full, Yet you are humble.

For the sake of protecting beings, Your conduct is as pure as a lotus. With the beautiful maroon monastic robes, You are like the moon illuminated by the light of dawn. Your body, adorned with beauty, Is filled with the fragrance of moral discipline. With supremely pure conduct, You fill the minds of beings in all directions, Making offerings to the precious teachings, Which are extraordinarily wonderful. Among the rows of Vinaya-holders, Formed by the light of pure discipline, You are like the moon, the good light, of the moral discipline that pleases the noble ones. Those who are biased towards certain doctrines, And arrogant in their supposed mastery of meaning, As well as those who rely on recitation, asceticism, and samadhi, And subtle practices, Sell the fruits of their accomplishments for worldly gain, And exchange them for fame in this life. They become the subject of disputes among the evil retinues, like terrible demons. Thinking about how to benefit the good ways of the three wheels of activity, reading and abandoning, Alas, who is there in this day and age? Always thinking about how to benefit the teachings, And wholeheartedly engaging in teaching, writing, and spreading them, Rare are those like you who abandon their own interests. Whatever pure activities you engage in, Through actions that naturally flow, Even though they pervade the ocean-covered earth, those who enjoy them do not understand. Others strive with great effort from all sides, And diligently engage in the three wheels of activity, But you, while remaining in place, Greatly increase the power of your daily deeds. The conduct of one who is learned and accomplished, Is like ascending to the summit of the supremely high King of Mountains. You hold in your heart even the smallest qualities of others with great importance. Those who are arrogant with their lineage, appearance, strength, Extensive learning, intelligence, and wealth, become like stars before the sun in your presence. Each of your actions, Emits a thousand rays of noble and virtuous moonlight, Even though they are displayed in the darkness of the degenerate age, the foolish do not think to follow in your footsteps. Whatever good deeds you have brought about for the teachings and beings, Are incomparable to others, Appearing great and extraordinary. Relying on pebbles, magnets, sticks, etc., Performing trivial, temporary magic tricks, And boasting about their realization of the path, Such accomplished ones fill this land today. Is this pure meditation with or without defilements?
