It is so. When the two appearances arise in the post-meditation state, although they appear, they lack inherent existence, like illusions and so on. Therefore, one is free from accepting things as real or unreal, neither true nor false, although they appear, they lack inherent existence. Here, distinguish between the two truths and examine the acceptance of true, not true, and false. In equipoise, all elaborations such as appearance and non-appearance, truth and falsehood, are completely pacified. Therefore, when the limit of elaboration is transferred to the realm of non-elaboration, there is no basis for explaining or questioning the reasons for non-elaboration, because in non-elaboration, there is no basis for designating anything as what it is or is not with terms. Therefore, the limit of all phenomena reaches non-elaboration, and there is no basis for imputing faults, as in "Since I have no acceptance," and so on. Thus, it is indicated by that. What is it that is absent from the six senses, such as the eye? What is it that appears in various ways, such as the two, samsara and nirvana, and happiness and suffering? If you ask for the reason, answer that it is due to the power of dependent origination. If you ask why it is dependent origination, say that it is because it appears that way. That appearance is also made by convention, but in reality, nothing arises dependently. If it is like the meaning of karma arising from ignorance, and so on. The appearance of this to conceptual thought is due to the habitual imprints of beginningless elaboration. Elaboration is what is distinguished by the mind. The mind arises from primordial luminosity. Luminosity is not the object of all networks of elaboration, and so on, and can be explained in various ways. Saying that it is merely established by the power of conceptual thought is the ultimate limit of valid convention, and must come from the discernment of ultimate truth. Having understood this, whether it is the valid convention of the school that accepts a common object of observation, or the valid cognition of the Mind-Only school that does not accept it, it must be established without fault. If this is not understood, one will ultimately not understand the way of establishing with valid convention. If one establishes only with the valid cognition of external objects, then one cannot establish the types of sentient beings whose heat of fire is reversed, and one object with different minds. If that is not established, then the valid or invalid cognition of whether the habitual imprints of the Mind-Only school have arisen stably or not is also just like habitual imprints, so it seems that it will ultimately not be established, and should be examined. If one knows the establishment of conceptual thought, then whether one accepts or does not accept external objects, that of any school is also that.

Before what does it become established? Those things that appear individually become unmistaken valid cognition. As long as appearance exists, valid cognition is established. If it doesn't appear, then there is no basis for establishing valid cognition. In the Buddha-land where all elaborations are pacified, how could the wisdom that sees everything not be established? Although many people think that because the Buddha does not have all elaborations and dualistic appearances, that is not the case. Although there are no elaborations of dualistic appearance, because the Buddha sees the two truths inseparably, he must have two wisdoms. If there are no two wisdoms, then the Buddha would not be one with the ten powers. If that were the case, it would become not all-knowing. Unless samsara, nirvana, and the conventional are completely non-existent, otherwise, if they exist, the Buddha must see them, because the Buddha is all-knowing. The Buddha's seeing is the realization of the nature that is inseparable from the dharmadhatu, and this way of seeing is inconceivable to ordinary people. Illusions like the double moon must be illusions, otherwise external objects would exist. Even if there are no external objects, if they appear, they cannot go beyond illusions. Therefore, all conventional dualistic appearances appear even though they do not exist, so why are they not illusions? Therefore, if someone says where is the conventional in the Buddha-land? Establishing the double moon, water moon, etc. as illusions is established because of the cessation of terms. Merely appearing is not an illusion, but the appearance of dependent arising. Saying it is an illusion is to make people understand that it does not exist in reality. Although such an establishment can be established, it is established in the unborn because it is dependent arising. Even if it is believed that the real moon is not an illusory appearance, it is established in the unborn by the reasoning of dependent arising. Everything that is conventional does not necessarily have to be an illusion. Then, what is the meaning of "ignorance obscures the nature" etc., and "awakening divides into three" etc.? Because of clinging to true establishment, it is explained in the conventional with the meaning of obscuring or covering. The absence of three parts is the meaning of no elaboration. If there is no dualistic appearance, how does the conventional appear? Although all dharmas originally do not have a dualistic nature, but as they appear, although there is no dualistic appearance, there is no contradiction in all dharmas not moving from the nature of the only sphere and only having various appearances. With seeing that has no simultaneity and sequence, and the difference between the two truths
