If the nature of clear light is the cause, and if one does not establish the order of before and after arising from the path of realizing or not realizing it, then both liberation and delusion are not from the key point of realizing or not realizing the ground clear light. Because clear light is an unconditioned phenomenon without beginning or end, and there exists delusion in which the order of before and after can never be established. Such delusion will not revert even if the ground of clear light is realized. Because it is independent and does not rely on clear light. If that is the case, then it is unreasonable to ask from where beings arise, and the example of earth relying on water, etc., and wind relying on space is also unreasonable, because it would become wind relying on wind. Even in the context of the clear light of the path, it is impossible for all deluded minds to dissolve into the nature of clear light. If the cause of the deluded mind itself and clear light revert, then they revert together; if they do not revert, then they must not revert together. Clear light should not be considered as the cause, because if beings are deluded by taking clear light as the cause, would they think that they will be deluded until the clear light reverts later? They will not be deluded. Although the mere existence of clear light is not the cause of delusion as the immediate cause, all appearances of clear light are indeed derived from causes and conditions. From the power of spontaneous accomplishment, there is the possibility of arising grasping, from which arises the mind of elaboration of grasper and grasped, and ignorance causes beings to be deluded, and self-awareness causes the wisdom of liberation to arise, these two are possible. Therefore, even if the deluded mind transforms into wisdom, the result will not revert to the cause. However, if one still thinks that delusion may arise from the appearance of clear light, that is accepted, because it is said that way. Therefore, this wisdom without grasper and grasped is the wisdom that is born together with clear light. Realizing this is liberation, not understanding this and clinging to grasper and grasped, the appearance of delusion will not cease, and due to the influence of various karmas, the taking of birth in existence will not cease. Realizing the selflessness of the individual, even if it temporarily prevents extreme views, it cannot completely stop the mind of grasper and grasped. Therefore, one enters the Great Vehicle again, and entering cessation, although the mind is temporarily stopped, the seed of the mind will still arise. Therefore, samsara and nirvana only have the difference of ignorance or non-ignorance, and the ultimate resolution of this matter must be decided only by the teachings of Dzogchen. From the nature of clear light, wind moves and the three appearances arise, this

In the Dzogchen scriptures, the manner of delusion has been clearly explained from the state of original nature. The luminosity that is like the unmoving, causeless sky, unagitated by karmic winds, is the ground. From the ground, the luminosity of ground-appearance or the appearance of the three causes arises, and with that subtle wisdom that recognizes the innate as the appearance of the luminosity-child, having realized the nature of the luminosity-mother, the mother and child merge, and the luminosity is attained, which is distinguished by the sound of the wind of wisdom. Therefore, until the luminosity-child has grasped the mother, as long as the mind is stopped and wisdom has not arisen in the mother's state, although there is luminosity, because there is no object to be manifested by anyone, it is called the state of no-mind. Therefore, from now on, abiding in the state of uncontrived luminosity, self-awareness, this is the supreme of all stages of completion. If that is not possible, then by causing the winds to enter the central channel, etc., the movement of the active karmic winds is destroyed, so that the mind of grasping and being grasped gradually subsides, and finally wisdom arises, so that all the power of mind and karmic winds is consumed by it. Therefore, this infallible arising of dependent origination, like the sprouting of a seed, etc., is under the influence of karma, and at the time when the appearances of the five elements and the derivatives of the five elements have matured, the appearances are not deceptive, but if they meet with a powerful inner cause, they may appear in other forms, so the inner dependent origination itself is the most powerful. Therefore, these five elements appear due to the karma of sentient beings, and seem to be stable for as long as they last, but in reality, they are not independent of mind, for example, those with power can transform earth and other elements into other substances, those who have attained miraculous powers can pass through mountains and rocks, and so on. If it were not for the power of mind, nothing could be transformed in the elements. First, it arises by the power of mind; in the middle, it abides by the power of mind; finally, it ceases in the nature of mind, like the appearance of a dream. Therefore, there are explanations about the great elements, etc., and in the Earth-Essence Sutra, it is said that the basis where the elements cease is the mind, and it is explained that the four elements, such as earth and water, arise from the nature of space, and this space is not empty and without cause, but arises from the power of mind. Likewise, although space has no substance, so there is no cessation, it is only an appearance that can open wisdom.
