As long as there is clinging, even if one attains non-conceptual wisdom, one cannot enter the peaceful state of the cessation of elaboration in the Dharmadhatu. Therefore, one abides in a view that has clinging. Thus, contemplating the existence of Bodhicitta and cause and effect, etc., also falls into the realm of clinging, thereby deviating from the Mahayana. If it is united with non-clinging, it should be understood as possessing the meaning of the Mahayana. Iron Rabbit Year, 10th month, 15th day. Regarding the pervasiveness of colors: White is like the color of the moon or a conch shell; yellow is like the color of gold or turmeric; red is like the color of a ruby or coral; green is like the color of jade or grass; blue is like the color of the Earth's sky. In terms of shape, round is like the shape of a full moon. Squares, etc., are explained in the same way. If one lists things that are well-known and unchanging, such as the eighth-day moon, it is easy to understand and avoids wordiness. Long is like a tree that needs to be looked up at; short is like the limb of an ant; large is like Mount Meru; small is like a dust particle that can be seen; flat is like the surface of a mirror; uneven is like the waves of the ocean, etc. It is better to list them this way, so discern correctly. Good!

Or it is non-existent, like realizing the suchness of reality or selflessness. That is to say, what is refuted by the reasoning of meaning analysis is that all phenomena are established by their own nature or self-nature. It must be said that what is refuted is truly established. However, after realizing that all phenomena are without self-nature and that the self of a person is without its own characteristic or self, it must be understood as unapprehendable in the ultimate sense. If what is refuted is independently existing truly established, then both the truly non-existent and conventional objects such as vases, because they are apprehended in the ultimate sense, the three wheels of truly established are not apprehended. If the three wheels of phenomena do not return, then abiding in that, even if dualistic appearances manifest, it is impossible to be reversed, let alone seeds and habitual tendencies. The way to abandon them is, first, manifestation, then seeds, and after the seeds are exhausted, habitual tendencies are abandoned in a gradual order of coarse and subtle. If things are not non-existent in the ultimate sense, then because independently existing truly established is refuted, one's own self-nature will not be empty. Therefore, apprehending it cannot be reversed by ultimate equipoise, so there is no way to reverse dualistic appearances. If it is reversed, then three faults such as emptiness becoming the cause of fear for things will occur. First, when certainty is gained through reasoning, even if dualistic appearances do not reverse, attachment to them will reverse. On the path of joining, manifestation reverses, but seeds are not abandoned. Noble disciples abandon seeds on the seven grounds, and habitual tendencies are abandoned on the pure ground. Therefore, in short, it is by realizing the reality of the inseparability of the two truths that dualistic appearances are abandoned, not by the mere negation of true emptiness. This is important. Although it must be said that the self of phenomena is refuted on the vase, not the vase itself, this self of phenomena is what the vase apprehends in the ultimate sense, so it must be understood as not apprehending the vase in the ultimate sense, not as independently existing. Because the reason for not apprehending in the ultimate sense is the vase itself, it must be understood as the ultimate reality of the inseparability of the two truths. If, like you, there is no phenomenon that is not refuted by meaning analysis, if compassion and the perfections, reality and emptiness, and the realization of selflessness are objects of refutation by reasoning, then it is unreasonable to have to view them as non-existent. Although it must be viewed as not apprehending them in the ultimate sense, how can one view them as non-existent? Because it is the view of the reality of the inseparability of the two truths, it does not affirm existence or non-existence. Even according to the view of the affirming school, it is ultimate.
