Furthermore, whatever arises from conditions is said to be emptiness. As it is said, according to your view, since a pot is not empty, it would not be dependent arising; like a rabbit's horn, since it is empty of true existence, it would be dependent arising. Therefore, you probably have rabbit's horns and cities of barren women. Saying that your city is a city of barren women, etc., to others as a refutation does not apply to us, but applies to you. You think that the emptiness to be proven is something that does not exist in conventional terms, while we think that the emptiness to be proven exists in conventional terms, so this kind of reversal has occurred in our way of proving emptiness. If Nagarjuna and Chandrakirti saw this, one of them would definitely laugh. Just a little joke, if we rely on the meaning to speak, it will definitely appear as one meaning, this is just your thought. Please do not be angry because of the verbal disputes and jokes. Haha. Do not think that these refutations are addressed to Je Tsongkhapa, because his view is profound, so we also regard him as a guru. Then who are they addressed to? It is just to give you a little amusement, and I have said a few words in response. While holding that conventional things are not empty, and dispelling doubts by saying that phenomena are empty of other, wanting to destroy all clinging to reality, alas, this has truly become an accomplice of others! When you explain emptiness, that snake that appears in the realm of the wrong cognition of grasping a snake is not a snake other than the rope, but a fabricated appearance, confused like a snake. Even if it is said to be empty of a real snake, it is not empty of other snakes, but empty of the appearance of a snake. Whether there is a fault in saying this needs to be examined, but it must be admitted that the rope is empty of the snake. Admitting that pots, etc., are empty of other, this does not seem to benefit the Madhyamaka school, which proclaims that all phenomena are without self-nature, but the ultimate nature of reality, which is non-dual, is not empty from its own side, but is empty of all conventionalities, including dualistic appearances, so it seems that this is done in order to easily establish the acceptance of Madhyamaka other-emptiness. These and so on, must be combined with the reasoning that is sure to be established, and expressed concisely with few words, may it be virtuous!

Examining Other Systems. Homage to Manjushri Jñānadarśa. The statement, "A pot is not empty of a pot; a pot is empty of being truly established," is flawed because it is unreasonable from the perspective of either of the two truths. First, if both parts of that assertion are made solely from the perspective of conventional analysis, it is unreasonable because there are four faults: being untimely, unnecessary, self-contradictory, and becoming an irrelevant statement. These reasons are established sequentially. First, in the sutras, when explaining emptiness in the ultimate sense, such as "The eye is empty of an eye," it is untimely to discuss whether the eye is empty or not empty of an eye in the conventional sense. Moreover, in the conventional sense, it is already established that the eye itself is not empty of itself, and that other phenomena such as the ear are empty. Therefore, such a commitment becomes a fault. As stated in the Pramāṇavārttika: "Because all things by their own nature, abide in their own essence, dependent on the transformation, from similar and other things." Furthermore, ordinary people also understand that a pot is a pot and that a pot is not cloth, etc. Therefore, it becomes proving what is already established and an irrelevant statement that is untimely. If so, there is also the fault of self-contradiction. If a pot is not empty of a pot in the conventional sense, then the pot is truly established in the conventional sense. Therefore, the commitment that a pot is not empty of a pot and that a pot is not truly established is self-contradictory, because the premise of the commitment is that both the former and latter parts are made from the conventional perspective. If both of these parts are from the perspective of ultimate analysis, it is unreasonable because four faults can be pointed out: the commitment is self-contradictory, contradicts scripture, the emptiness is reduced to a mere negation, and the meaning of emptiness arising as dependent origination is lost. These reasons are established sequentially. If a pot is not empty of a pot in the ultimate sense, then the pot becomes truly established. If a pot is empty of being truly established, then it is contradictory that a pot is not empty of a pot. Because if analyzed from the basis of ultimate analysis, if analyzed from part to part, even down to atoms, the thing called a pot is not found or not established, which is the meaning of a pot being empty of a pot. To this, truly
