It is quoted from scriptures that it can be established through the eyes. If it is said that the sky is established by eye consciousness, therefore there are forms, etc., that is not necessary. If the sky is established in an autonomous manner, then that is necessary. But the sky is established in a way that negates autonomy, so forms, etc., are not necessary. If you ask how negation is established through eye consciousness, the answer is: it is established through non-apprehension. Because of the non-apprehension of obstruction, the vastness and smallness of the sky are established by eye consciousness, and that there is no cloth on the pot, etc., are established. These two meanings of negation and establishment are rooted in apprehension and non-apprehension. And apprehension and non-apprehension are also established by sense consciousness. If it is not established, then the existence or non-existence of a pot in this direction cannot be established by eye consciousness. The eye is the object of form, therefore, it can apprehend its existence or non-existence. If it is not understood, no expression can be established, therefore these two, negation and establishment, are interconnected to make expressions, they are not unrelated. Because the way of establishing a pot has been established, so the absence of cloth, etc., is also established by it. Therefore, for an unexamined pot, the absence of cloth, etc., also exists in name. The sky also exists, observation and cessation also exist. Emptiness also exists. If emptiness does not exist in name, then meditating on it, etc., and eliminating afflictions, etc., through it, would be impossible. Therefore, both negation and establishment exist together in name, and have their own functions of appearance on their own level, such as the sky not obstructing, etc. This is also because the name and meaning are consistent, appearing from harmless sense consciousness, and everything that functions in the world just by appearing exists in name. Permanence, self, etc., do not exist, just as camphor can cure cold diseases, but cannot cure heat diseases. For both negation and establishment, from the perspective of examination, they are both without inherent existence. Therefore, for the unexamined and unanalyzed way of appearance of the world, for that dharma and the name established for that dharma, mundane activities can be performed. If one analyzes with wisdom and establishes something that exists, then the name cannot be established. Therefore, the consequentialists acknowledge the unexamined way of appearance, and for things that exist in the world, I also think they exist, etc., as the scriptures say: "These are all established by the power of conceptual thought." etc. From the perspective of the way of appearance, conditioned and unconditioned, true and false, path and fruit, philosophical tenets, etc., are all acknowledged as they appear, because the result arises from the cause.

arise. Virtue creates happiness. Meditating on the path abandons afflictions, and so forth. Many harmless conventions can be accepted. Therefore, even when contemplating and meditating on something that is destroyed, the term "destroyed" is a valid convention in the world, so it serves a purpose in terms of appearance. However, it doesn't make things causal. If it did, all unconditioned things would also become like that, and in the Prāsaṅgika system, unconditioned things would become completely nonexistent. Therefore, this way of assigning terms based on how things appear in the world without investigation, such as when accepting conditioned and unconditioned things, or paths and results, is as follows: Conditioned things are named as such because worldly people see them arising from causes and conditions. Unconditioned things are named as such because they do not arise from causes and conditions. This is how things appear in the world, and since it is a valid convention, Prāsaṅgikas also accept it as such. The path accomplishes the result because dependent origination is unfailing. Since it unfailingly appears that way in the world, it is accepted as such. There is no need to investigate the four extremes of arising, before and after, and so on. There is still more to be analyzed here. In short, the unique conventions of the Prāsaṅgikas, which are said to be established by conceptual imputation, are accepted as they appear in the world without investigation or analysis, just as worldly people use conventions. This is the actual way Prāsaṅgikas establish conventions, and the way these established conventions are accepted is faultless. They only serve as terms imputed by conceptual imputation. If they didn't, all conventions would be destroyed by this reasoning. It is established by reasoning, not by saying that conventions are established merely by conceptual imputation, but by establishing them without investigation. If investigated and analyzed, it only becomes conceptual investigation, but that doesn't harm the convention. If it did, then by conceptual imputation, there would have to be uninvestigated terms like "vase," and if that were the case, it would definitely become a proponent of inherent existence, with all the logical consequences that entails. Therefore, accepting uninvestigated conventions is established as extremely reasonable. Quoting from Chandrakirti's texts, if uninvestigated appearances are investigated, they are without inherent existence. Since these two are not different, the two truths are established as inseparable in indivisibility, inexpressibility, and freedom from all elaborations, not just the nominal ultimate truth that is to be established. Therefore,
