This is for the sake of explanation. Therefore, according to the Svatantrika's view, the distinctions such as truly established must be measured by the wisdom that investigates ultimate truth, which is meaningless in the Prasangika's view. It is not necessary to measure that way, and if it is absolutely necessary to measure, then it will be as described above. If this is not taken to mean that a pot is not empty of a pot, then there is no contradiction in measuring, and it can be understood that if one examines "not truly existent" with reason, it is the meaning of not being established. It is not permissible to measure on the basis of ultimate truth investigation, because whatever is investigated by reason cannot be proven to withstand scrutiny, so it must be established as without an object of focus. Even if there is a slight object of focus, it will become truly existent. When examining arising with ultimate truth investigation, one will acknowledge that one cannot find the mode of arising in any of the four extremes. It is not that one does not negate any of the extremes. Since the four extremes are not found, how is conventional arising established? If it exists without being negated by reason as conventional arising, then the existence of truly existent arising is not refuted. In that case, when acknowledging non-arising, one must also add the distinction "arising is not truly existent," and one must also add the distinction of unreality to essence and nature, etc. If one adds in that way, then even to unreality, one must add endless distinctions such as "a pot is true, truth is not true," so that one will not be able to ascertain anything. Etc., Manjushri, please be aware! If one says that for things that can be examined by reason, one expresses truth and essence, etc., with the intention of expressing them, and by expressing them, one negates them, so one expresses them with unreality, etc., then there is no need for endless distinctions. Then, for things that cannot be examined by reason, such as pots and arising, one can establish "non-arising, no pot, a pot is empty" with reason when appropriate, and it is acceptable even without adding distinctions such as truly established. Therefore, do not distinguish philosophical tenets by words, but distinguish them by meaning. Being truly established can also be understood as being established in the conventional sense as not deceiving in the face of conventional valid cognition. Essence, self-characteristic, nature, etc., can also be understood as the essence, etc., of the appearance of a pot being bulging, etc., in the conventional sense. If one does not negate that, then a conventional pot exists, but how can its essence not exist? In the conventional sense, there is no way to focus on a pot that does not focus on its own essence.

There, there is nothing that can be prevented by meaning analysis. Just because meaning analysis has not found it, it is understood as empty, and its terminology can be used. From the perspective of meaning analysis, it can be said that "there is no pot," or it is okay not to add qualifiers such as essence. Even if added, it does not contradict the intention of expression. The emptiness that is negated by ultimate analysis, the emptiness of not being established by nature, does not exist in the ultimate sense, but can appear in name, which is the union of appearance and emptiness. Appearance and emptiness are interdependent, and what does not exist or is completely non-existent in name, like a rabbit's horn, is the emptiness of annihilation that cannot appear. If so, there is a distinction between non-self-nature and non-existence. If it is thought that what is negated by ultimate analysis does not exist in name, then distinguishing between the two is meaningless, because what is negated by meaning analysis or does not exist in its presence is also considered to be unable to appear. If the ultimate is taken as the goal, there will be errors, such as: solitude, unbirth, non-self-nature, non-essence, non-truth, emptiness, etc. are only different names, the meaning is the same. Therefore, it can be said that "the pot is emptiness," or "the pot is empty by its own nature," "the pot is empty by the pot," etc. If it cannot be said like this, then the difference between emptiness and non-truth must be explained. Self-nature or essence is only the difference of change. If the words "established" etc. are not added, then does it exist or not in name? If in name, how is the essence of the pot considered to be a pot without self-characteristics? Therefore, even if words such as essence are added to express the intention, in reality, what is expressed is that the pot is not established or invisible in the face of meaning analysis, and there is no different meaning other than that. If non-self-nature cannot be denied, then its scope of exclusion is called truly established and ultimate. If emptiness does not exist ultimately, then what is the difference between ultimate and dharma nature, etc.? There is no pot ultimately. If there is the existence of no pot, then emptiness is truly established. If both are negated, then it is the error of admitting neither existence nor non-existence. If there is no non-existence of the pot, then the two negations will cancel each other out, and it will become the existence of the pot. The measure of meaning analysis is the meaning of discovery and establishment, and the ultimate is the object of direct observation. Because it exists in the object, emptiness is truly established. Even so, if it is not truly established, then meaning analysis cannot discover it, and meditation cannot discover it. That
