To regard the mixture as a threefold aggregate in the context of establishing the inseparability of the union of two truths. This is a way of establishing it in conventional terms, and although it may be without fault at times, it is like the color green, which is both blue and yellow, and is neither pure blue nor pure yellow, but from the mixture of blue and yellow, a new green arises that is neither blue nor yellow. In ultimate reality, in the presence of the self-cognizance of each individual, it is neither conventional nor ultimate, or rather, it is neither appearance nor non-appearance, or rather, it is neither non-empty nor empty, a self-existent threefold aggregate is not an object of focus, because it transcends the four terms of affirmation and negation of existence and non-existence, being and non-being, and does not abide in any extreme. Therefore, appearance and non-appearance, emptiness and non-emptiness, self and non-self, and all such elaborations should be abandoned. This is because it is stated in all the scriptures such as the Sutras and the Madhyamakavatara. If one needs to combine conventional and ultimate reality here to negate the two extremes, then saying, "The self does not exist in ultimate reality, but it is not non-existent in conventional terms," thereby admitting that the self exists in conventional terms, and "The self is not non-existent in ultimate reality, nor does it exist in conventional terms," is extremely contradictory, who could say such a thing? Similarly, the reality of the nature of phenomena, in ultimate reality it is not appearance, but in conventional terms it is not non-appearance, or rather, the way of transcending the extremes of emptiness and non-emptiness, is it saying, "In conventional terms it is not non-empty, in ultimate reality it is not empty"? Or saying, "In conventional terms it is not empty, in ultimate reality it is not non-empty," etc., whatever is said, it will only sometimes be consistent and sometimes inconsistent. If reality is considered in the context of ultimate finality, then if there are two elaborations of admitting it in the context of conventional reality and admitting it in the context of ultimate reality, how can the four extremes be simultaneously refuted? Furthermore, having separated each of the valid cognitions of conventional and ultimate reality individually, it is not permissible to admit that the four extremes such as "it does not exist in conventional reality" do not exist, but one must only assert that "it is not non-existent in conventional reality," and it is meaningless to add the other three terms. If it is considered in the context of ultimate reality, then other than merely admitting that "it does not exist in ultimate reality," it is not permissible to admit existence, both, or neither. If it is considered in the context of combining both conventional and ultimate reality, there is no choice other than to eliminate the two extremes by saying, "It exists in conventional reality, it does not exist in ultimate reality," or saying, "It exists in conventional reality, it is non-existent by true existence," etc.

Therefore, with regard to the two valid cognitions, there are two commitments. It must be committed that both are, and if both are, then the fourth possibility cannot be committed. If neither is, then both are unreasonable, etc. No matter how one commits, there is fault, so there is inevitably fault in having a commitment. Therefore, there is no fault in committing to this truth that is inseparable and free from all commitments. It is just as you have spoken of commitments, etc., to me. The essence of the two truths is one, meaning that in reality, the two truths are inseparable. In that regard, according to the above commitment, one must commit to non-duality, just like their respective commitments. If both the conventionally existent and the ultimately non-existent are not, then it will contradict the previous "both are." If one thinks that both are not the third possibility, then the latter two possibilities must also be understood as the third possibility. In that case, compared to the former two, the latter two do not exceed the meaning of the former, that is, the commitment made on the level of each of the two truths. There is no need other than strongly asserting the contradiction that the essence of the two truths is not one. As long as one commits to either the extreme of existence or non-existence, then it does not go beyond elaboration. Since one cannot commit to any of the four extremes without distinguishing the two truths, it is with commitment. When one is free from elaboration, without any commitment to the four extremes such as existence and non-existence, then it is the meaning of the two truths being inseparable, so there is no need to distinguish the two truths. A commitment like negating one to establish the other, or establishing one to negate the other, does not work, because it seems sufficient to establish the absence of clinging to the four extremes in general from the perspective of no elaboration. If it is not like that, then one cannot commit to the words of Nagarjuna as they are, free from all commitments, but one must only explain the ultimate establishment as free from all commitments. If the ultimate establishment as free from all commitments only establishes the faultless reality, then, although the elaboration of the four extremes must be refuted because there is no ultimate establishment, both the ultimate establishment being non-existent and existent are. One cannot commit to the four possibilities of non-duality, etc., but one must only commit to the ultimate establishment being non-existent, and one cannot commit to the three possibilities. The pot is not ultimately established as existent, nor is it ultimately established as non-existent, thus committing
