Then, it would follow that ultimate truth is not ultimate truth but conventional truth, and emptiness is not truly established but is established as untrue. Here, true and untrue are established in name as the meaning of deceiving and not deceiving. If it is thought that true establishment is the meaning of not empty, then even if emptiness is added to the complete absence of emptiness, it will not become not empty, because it will not go beyond emptiness, just as adding untrue to untrue will not go beyond the nature of untrue. Furthermore, according to the view that refuting untruth will become truly established, the subject, emptiness, should not be truly established, because you assert it. If you assert it, then that subject should be established as untrue, you must assert it. If you do not assert it, then it should become truly established, just like the way of refuting untruth. Furthermore, what is the meaning of emptiness, conventional or ultimate? If it is conventional, then you must admit that whatever ultimate truth is does not exist. If you admit that conventional truth exists but ultimate truth does not, then the two truths do not exist, and it cannot be realized, and union does not exist, etc., there are endless faults. Union, which is free from elaboration and is its own nature, although it transcends affirmation and negation, it exists in name, and is ultimate truth, and is the object to be realized by the wisdom that directly realizes ultimate truth, so there is no way not to admit it, therefore, it should also be established in that way. Furthermore, among the two, existence and non-existence, which is emptiness? If it is non-existence, then it will become that ultimate truth does not exist, and it is not the object to be realized, etc. If it exists, then it can withstand examination by scripture and reasoning, or it is established as existing harmlessly, and because it is the object of the samadhi of the noble ones, it will become that ultimate truth exists and is truly established. If you refute it, then you must admit that ultimate truth and emptiness do not exist, because according to your system, ultimate truth is refuted by valid cognition and must not exist in name, just like true establishment. Sakya Jetsun and others have promised that ultimate truth does not exist. Therefore, if ultimate truth does not exist, then everything is unreasonable. If it exists, even if it exists in conventional truth, it will not become ultimate truth, like a pot. If it is not ultimate truth, then there is no dharma that exists as ultimate truth, therefore, admitting that ultimate truth does not exist, etc., there are endless faults. Emptiness cannot be examined by the intellect of ultimate truth, because all refutations are established in dependence on the object to be refuted, if you think so, even if it is so, emptiness

That is, it is established as emptiness. As Nagarjuna said, "Emptiness is called emptiness, thus there is nothing that is not empty." As it is said, even if emptiness, emptiness, etc. are accumulated until the end of the kalpa, they do not go beyond the nature of emptiness. Therefore, in general, emptiness must be established in the ultimate sense. If it is not established, it will become conventional truth, and it will never be possible for emptiness to be the ultimate truth. Therefore, it is irreversible that emptiness is the ultimate truth and is established in the ultimate sense. If it is reversed, it is like denying the unreal and turning into the establishment of the real. If emptiness is not the ultimate truth, it will become conventional truth, because the third truth never exists. It is said that if it is the ultimate truth, then it must be established in the ultimate sense, etc., as mentioned above. Although emptiness is the ultimate truth, if it is not established in the ultimate sense, although the unreal is unreal, if it is not established as unreal, it will lead to the absence of any object that is established as real. Therefore, it will not be necessary to cling to merely the unreal. Although all dharmas are each themselves, if it is said that each is not established as each, then how can it be said like the words of a madman? If a pot is a pot, then the pot must be established as a pot, and there must be a valid cognition that establishes it as a pot, and the same is true for emptiness. If emptiness is truth, non-deceptive, ultimate truth, and reality, then it must be established as such, just as it must be considered that conventional truth is untrue, false, deceptive, conventional, and phenomenal rather than reality. Furthermore, according to your school, the object to be refuted by the wisdom that investigates the ultimate is only the establishment of the real, and it does not exist in name, and it has been refuted by the wisdom that investigates the ultimate. Since the establishment of the real has been completely refuted, the emptiness that is established as the absence of the real has no reason to prevent it from not being established as the real, because it has been established by the wisdom that investigates the ultimate. And it is not an object to be examined again by the wisdom that investigates the ultimate, just as your wisdom that investigates the ultimate refutes the establishment of the real, but does not refute the pot of name, as you admit. If the pot is refuted more than the establishment of the real, then the pot must not exist in name, but this is impossible, so should it not be considered that those that exist in name are not objects to be refuted by the wisdom that investigates the ultimate? Likewise, emptiness is not an object to be examined again by the wisdom that investigates the ultimate, because in the absence of self-nature, the wisdom of one or many does not apply. The constant dharma has no cause, therefore there is no four extremes of origination.
