Words arise through special combinations with terms like "ོ་". The collection of many words allows for the complete expression of meaning, whether detailed or concise, thus accomplishing treatises with various formats such as chapters and sections. As for these expressions of meaning, according to Sanskrit, the characteristics of sound are formed by being filled with three aspects: nature, condition, and transformation. Among these, nature is divided into two types: the nature of the root and the nature of the noun. The conditions attached to the end of the root are two types: कृत् (Sanskrit Devanagari, kṛt, Sanskrit Romanization, kṛt, meaning "to do") suffixes and general descriptive suffixes. The conditions attached to the end of the noun include case endings and various others. When a condition and a conditioned letter meet, changes occur such as the separation of "ས་ར་", and changes like "ཤ་ ཥ", "ན་ ཎ". Various transformations, where the form changes from the previous one through the addition or subtraction of letters, are well-known from grammatical treatises. Although Tibetan does not have terms like root, it does have the attachment of connective conditions to the nature of nouns. Moreover, due to the influence of prefixes indicating past and future, the sound and form change, such as in "བཅོམ་པ་ (to destroy)", "གཞོམ་པ་ (to defeat)", "འཇོམས་པ་ (to annihilate)", and so on. These so-called connectives do not express meaning on their own, but when combined with nouns, they become modifiers of the word, and can be understood as all components such as case endings, remainders, and conjunctions. Indian languages distinguish by singular, dual, and plural, thus having twenty-one cases, while Tibetan is said to have three, making twenty-four. However, the first case in Tibetan only expresses the essence of the thing, and is obtained through the meaning of words combining with each other, without existing separately. For example, the second case, like "ཤིང་ལ་བསྣུན་ (striking the tree)", is the accusative case; the third case, like "ཤིང་གིས་ཕུག་ (supporting with wood)", is the instrumental case; the fourth case, like "ཤིང་ལ་ཆུ་འདྲེན་ (watering the tree)", is the dative case; the fifth case, like "ཤིང་ལས་འབྲས་བུ་ (fruit from the tree)", is the ablative case; the sixth case, like "ཤིང་གི་ཡལ་ག་ (branch of the tree)", is the genitive case; the seventh case, like "ཤིང་ལ་བྱ་གནས་ (birds reside on the tree)", is the locative case. Furthermore, there are the sounds of remainder words like "སྟེ་ (namely)"; words of distinction and conjunction like "འམ་ (or)"; modifiers and conjunctions of words like "ཀྱང་ (also)"; concluding connectives like "གོ་ (understand)"; and "ནི", which has the meaning of distinction and emphasis; "གི་", which has the meaning of reason, situation, instruction, distinction, and conjunction; "གང་ (who)" and "སུ (who)" used generically; "ཅི (what)" which has the meaning of questioning; and various sounds like "ཇི་ལྟར་ (how)" and "བཞིན་ (like)" which indicate similarity.

The particle of possession. "མེད་" (med, without), "མ་" (ma, not), "མི་" (mi, not), "མིན" (min, non-) which have negative meanings. "དེ་སྒྲ་" (de sgra, that sound) etc. which indicate other categories. In addition, there are "ཡོད་" (yod, to have), "ཡིན" (yin, to be) which indicate affirmation. "ཁོ་ན" (kho na, only) which limits to the only one. Represented by "ཉིད་" (nyid, self) etc. which indicate certainty, it should be known that there are various kinds of word particles. These particles are added after the ten suffixes, depending on each case, and all are added in accordance with the meaning expressed, just as it is said in the treatises and commentaries of Sanskrit grammar (བྱཱ་ཀ་ར་ཎ, vyākaraṇa, व्याकरण, grammar), combining them well is to be skilled in expressing words. In addition, the way in which the power of prefixes shows self, other, and the three times is in accordance with the general statement of Chinese, and in this case, it is also seen that suffixes are also necessary components. For example, as has already been said before. Now it is being said. In the future it will be said. Without having to add many word helpers like that, like "གསུངས་སོ།" (gsungs so, has said), "གསུང་ངོ་།" (gsung ngo, is saying), "གསུང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ།" (gsung bar 'gyur ro, will say), it is for the sake of easy expression. In the case of actions and imperatives, suffixes are also obtained here by meaning, and in the case of nouns, like "གཅན་གཟན་གཟིག་" (gcan gzan gzig, wild animal leopard) and "སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས་" (spyan gyis gzigs, to see with the eye), whether or not there is a suffix "ས་" (sa) at the end, it is arranged for the sake of the necessity of not confusing the meaning according to the content expressed, which is meaningful. These kinds of things are like naming an elephant "ལག་ལྡན་" (lag ldan, having hands) and naming a horse "མགྱོགས་འགྲོ་" (mgyogs 'gro, fast-going), if other animals also have hands and walk fast, how can these animals alone be named? Do not argue, just as the custom of the previous namers, no wise person would go beyond it to speak. Although the tone of the sound in the correct pronunciation, for high expressions, like ra-go and sa-go etc. seem to have no difference, there is a big difference in writing the letters. Those who know the correct spelling can understand the meaning just by seeing it. Therefore, among the suffixes of the present tense, those with the sa ending are very important, so like not omitting the sa ending etc., according to the custom that the ancient grammarians who followed the true body of Manjushri (འཇམ་དཔའི་དབྱངས་, 'jam pa'i dbyangs) Thumi (ཐུ་མི, Thumi Sambhota) have already well established, no fault will be seen, and through the beauty of expression, and having the characteristics of being skilled in grammar, and the clarity of meaning etc., it is the source of the precious teachings.
