It is explained by summarizing it into four non-existence of the self of the person and the self of phenomena, which is the emptiness of no-things. The emptiness of the non-existence of the two selves is the emptiness of the essence of no-things. The former is explained from the perspective of differentiation, thereby eliminating the imputation of the two selves; the latter is explained from the perspective of the complete establishment of emptiness, thereby eliminating the defamation of emptiness. Thus, the distinctions of the sixteen emptinesses are explained. Summarizing the sixteen emptinesses and the four emptinesses

If asked, there are twenty divisions of emptiness. If considering the order in which a person's mind engages with emptiness, or the manner of realization, there are two types: the definitive meaning or emptiness that is expressive, and that which is inexpressive. The first is a negation that merely refutes true establishment in all phenomena, meaning that one has not realized all the extremes of freedom from elaboration, the object of clinging that is cut off from one aspect of elaboration. This is merely a designation of ultimate truth and emptiness, not something real, but since one must rely on this to realize the characteristic of ultimate emptiness, it is called a concordant ultimate truth. Regarding this, these knowable phenomena that have become the object of a mind with conceptual thought exist only through the two doors of arising dependently and being designated dependently. Conditioned phenomena that arise from causes and conditions exist through the door of arising dependently. Unconditioned phenomena, although not arising from causes, exist only through the door of being designated dependently, that is, the terms for those things are established by individually distinguishing what is to be negated, such as space for that which is unobstructed and untouched, cessation by discrimination for the exhaustion of what is to be abandoned, non-discrimination cessation for that which is unborn anywhere, and being established as non-true from the aspect of eliminating true establishment. Therefore, since unconditioned phenomena also do not transcend dependent arising that is designated dependently, it is said: There is no phenomenon whatsoever that is not dependent arising. It is said like this. These kinds of unconditioned phenomena are unreal unconditioned phenomena, so they are objects to be known only by conceptual thought, and are merely mentally imputed, not the inconceivable nature of reality. Therefore, if these are analyzed by the mind, there is nothing that does not empty its own essence, so there is nothing to be fixated on in the ultimate sense. Therefore, it is said: Therefore, there is no phenomenon whatsoever that is not emptiness. It is said like this. Thus, although all phenomena, real and unreal, are without anything that does not empty its own essence, the unmistaken appearances of conventions appear while being empty from the beginning, so realizing that appearance and emptiness are non-contradictory and of one taste is like what is said in the scriptures: That which is emptiness and dependent arising, In the Middle Way, the meaning is one. So said the supreme speech. Likewise, whatever is designated as real or unreal should be understood in the true sense as abiding in its own place, unmixed, and distinct.

Being free from attachment, the nature of phenomena, which is the inseparability of appearance and emptiness, or emptiness and dependent arising, abides in a state free from all elaborations. The wisdom that is free from grasping and apprehending, the non-conceptual wisdom that is realized by individual self-awareness, is the ultimate truth that is beyond names and concepts. This is designated by various names such as the Dharmadhatu, the ultimate truth, the true limit, and suchness. This is not merely a conceptual construct, but the natural way in which all phenomena abide, existing primordially and unchanging through the three times, transcending the realm of conceptual constructs and discriminations. Within it, all phenomena become equal, so there is nothing other than the Dharmadhatu. This emptiness, which possesses all supreme aspects, is the unsurpassed ultimate among all types of realization in the Great Vehicle. This uncompounded union is different from the uncompounded that is devoid of reality, and it is a great uncompounded that does not abide on either the extreme of existence or non-existence. This is not merely unproduced by causes, but also transcends the designation of objects that are established merely by dependent imputation. Therefore, it is the true uncompounded. With this in mind, the venerable Nagarjuna said: Existence and non-existence are compounded; Nirvana is uncompounded. Thus, what is to be said ceases, and the sphere of the mind's activity ceases. Unborn and unceasing, the nature of phenomena is the same as Nirvana. Thus, he spoke. The Dharma King, the glorious Manjushri Drakpa, said: The aggregates analyzed are emptiness, like a water tree without essence. The emptiness that possesses all supreme aspects is not the same as that. This is the meaning. Thus, in the face of realization, there is no distinction between the two truths, because all phenomena are realized as the equality of the Dharmadhatu, a single bindu like the center of a vajra in the sky. Therefore, in this, there is nothing to be abandoned, and there is nothing to be established. Seeing reality as it is, one is liberated upon seeing reality. As it is said, the meaning of all that is taught as freedom from elaboration and equality in the Great Vehicle will be thoroughly understood. So, what is the point of dividing into two truths?
