Furthermore, the fearlessness that is unobstructed in the profound and vast realms by virtue of the power of wisdom of correct understanding. Regarding this, the swift fearlessness of knowing without delay by merely measuring what is to be known; the clear fearlessness without the stain of impurity and confusion; the vast fearlessness of realizing meanings that are diverse and without end; the sharp fearlessness of easily knowing subtle and difficult-to-fathom meanings; the profound fearlessness of entering the meaning of supreme peace and non-elaboration; the continuous fearlessness that never ceases, no matter how much is spoken, and so on. The sutras speak of various categories, such as these. Moreover, unfailing memory, the wisdom that thoroughly distinguishes the Dharma, and the realization of the meaning of the sacred Dharma are the three causes of fearlessness. From these three causes arise dharani, which is primarily memory, and fearlessness, which is primarily the activity of wisdom. From these, one is able to uphold the Dharma, not cut off the lineage of the Three Jewels, and attain forbearance in the meaning of non-arising. The generation of mind that is in accordance with dharani and fearlessness is like the water of a craftsman, teaching the Dharma through the inexhaustibility of dharani and the giving of fearlessness, thereby benefiting sentient beings. The four seals of the Dharma are: all conditioned phenomena are impermanent, all contaminated phenomena are suffering, all phenomena are empty and without self, and nirvana is peace. All the main meanings of the subject matter of the sacred Dharma are contained within these four, so the sutras say that reciting these four is like reciting the eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma. The generation of mind that is in accordance with these four is like the pleasant sound of a lute, satisfying those to be tamed. The one path is the final entrance, no matter where one enters from. The common path to liberation is like selflessness, and according to the Great Vehicle path, it is like equality, ultimately entering the great Dharma Body of peace, like a vajra stake. If applied to one who enters the path, "going alone" means that one alone makes the aspiration to ripen all sentient beings, and so on. All endless perfections, ripenings, and purifications are done by oneself alone, without relying on others. The generation of mind that is in accordance with this is

You, like the flow of a great river into the ocean, ultimately tend towards great Bodhi. Skillful means refers to the power of excellent wisdom as the main factor, achieving great things and difficult tasks with little effort, and possessing wondrous qualities. For example, even when giving a small gift, it is accompanied by the intention of generating Bodhicitta and benefiting all sentient beings, fulfilling the other's mind through respectful and joyful actions, supported by non-discriminating wisdom, and then expanded infinitely through rejoicing and dedication, thus perfecting the Paramitas. Or, prostrating to the Buddhas of the ten directions and confessing sins, etc., effortlessly perfecting the vast accumulation of merit through the seven-branch practice. Furthermore, what would take a very long time to realize can be easily realized through skillful means, thus quickly attaining clairvoyance. And, knowing when and when not, which methods and which not, one subdues sentient beings with various methods: some are punished, some are embraced, and some are subdued by using afflictions. Similarly, teaching the Dharma, playing games, and so on, ripen sentient beings through various methods. In order not to cut off the lineage of the Three Jewels, one transcends the realms of the four Maras and the Hearers and Solitary Realizers. By realizing the three doors of liberation, one does not abide in any extreme with regard to all dharmas. Even knowing the ultimate truth, one does not reveal it at the wrong time. Knowing when and when not to enter any field of activity, one enters accordingly. One fulfills one's aspirations as desired. One is not attached to any dharma. One knows the immeasurable realm of skillful means. One subdues afflictions and transforms them into limbs of enlightenment. Phenomena appear as the pure nature of reality, and so on, possessing inconceivable qualities. The Bodhicitta corresponding to this skillful means is like a great cloud, causing the ripening of virtuous crops. Although that cloud has no discrimination, it manifests various appearances from the position of the king of gods to the evil realms, and so on. Thus, arguing
