Those excellent ones are the Dharma of teachings. Those Dharma of teachings and realization, with three virtues in the beginning, middle, and end, two good qualities of meaning and words, being unmixed and uncommon with others, completely perfect by abandoning all defilements, completely pure by showing the Dharma nature of self-nature purity, and completely purified by making one free from sudden stains, that is, possessing the four qualities of pure conduct. The Sangha are those who practice the Dharma, and there are two types: ordinary beings and noble ones. The noble ones are those who, after practicing the Dharma, see the truth of Dharma nature. Among them, the particularly superior Mahayana noble ones are those who, through their own self-awareness, realize the unique, profound, and vast Dharma to be realized by their own Mahayana system, and possess the special qualities of liberation through awareness, which is freedom from attachment, obstacles, inferiority, and obscurations. Thus, remembering the qualities of the Three Jewels, one should recollect the teacher, the path, and the companions on the path in an incomparable way. Recollecting the qualities of generosity and discipline, as well as the gods, that is, the gods of the desire and form realms, recollecting the qualities of the noble ones, one should also remember them as witnesses to one's own actions. Remembering the causes of those gods, that is, the ten virtues, the four concentrations, the four immeasurables, and also remembering the three doors of liberation, this is called recollecting the gods in terms of cause and effect. Thus, these last three recollections are remembering the three things for doing good deeds. The seven riches of the noble ones are: faith, generosity, discipline, learning, conscientiousness, shame, and wisdom. The word "perfect" should be added after each one. The noble ones possess these seven qualities in perfection, which never run out, and are their wealth, therefore it is said thus. The five eyes are: the eye faculty born from merit, which can see subtle and coarse forms from a hundred to a great thousand worlds, is the flesh eye. The maturation from meditating on concentration in a previous life, which arises effortlessly in this life, seeing death and birth with the divine eye, is the divine eye. Seeing the truth of Dharma nature is the eye of wisdom. Understanding the teachings and the Dharma of realization, as well as the faculties and so on of the noble individuals who possess them, is the Dharma eye.

The wisdom that sees all is the eye of the Buddha. The four ornaments of a Bodhisattva are: the ornaments of discipline, samadhi, wisdom, and dharani. The ten great aspirations of a Bodhisattva are: to worship the Buddhas, to uphold the sacred Dharma, to manifest the body everywhere, to enter all fields, to perfect the paramitas, to ripen sentient beings, to purify the fields, to dwell in harmony with the Bodhisattvas, to make all actions meaningful, and to attain great enlightenment. These ten aspirations have countless hundreds of thousands of aspiration wheels. These ten are accomplished in ten limitless places. What are they? They are the realm of sentient beings, the realm of the world, the realm of space, and likewise the sacred Dharma, nirvana, the appearance of the Buddha, the wisdom of the Buddha, the object of the minds of sentient beings, and the realm of the activity of the wisdom of the Buddha. As much as these are accomplished, these nine are gathered together, namely, the realm of the world, the realm of Dharma, and the realm of wisdom. These ten are pervasive in all directions and times, and it should be understood that one engages in showing the magical transformations of aspiration to that extent. The eight thoughts of a great being are: When will I be able to eliminate the suffering of all sentient beings? When will I be able to place poor sentient beings in great wealth? When will I be able to benefit sentient beings with this body of flesh and blood? When will I be able to benefit sentient beings even if I remain in hell for a long time? May I never in all lifetimes possess births, the three doors, wealth, power, etc., that are not beneficial to sentient beings, and may I always enjoy the taste of ultimate meaning, and not harm sentient beings. May the karmic results of all sentient beings ripen upon me, and may my virtuous results ripen upon them, so that they may be happy. When will I be able to fulfill the wishes of sentient beings as they desire with the great wealth of the world and beyond? When will I become a Buddha and liberate all sentient beings from suffering? Thus one thinks. Again, there are three wheels: reading
