In the two kinds of intention, the five roots become the power of not being overcome by opposing factors. Once the peak is attained, from then on, the situation of wrong views severing virtuous roots will never occur again. Once tolerance is attained, one will not fall into the lower realms. The path of seeing refers to the direct vision of the truth of Dharma-nature by equally possessing samadhi and wisdom without any object of focus after attaining the supreme Dharma. Here, it is believed that sixteen moments of wisdom of knowledge and tolerance arise. What are the sixteen? They are the tolerance of knowing the Dharma of suffering, the knowledge of the Dharma of suffering, the tolerance of knowing the subsequent Dharma of suffering, and the knowledge of the subsequent Dharma of suffering. Similarly, the four of the tolerance of the Dharma of origination, the knowledge of the Dharma of origination, the tolerance of the subsequent origination, and the subsequent knowledge; the four of cessation; and the four of the path, totaling sixteen arising. Moreover, for them, there are various views such as the former arising before the latter, and the latter using it as an object of knowledge. However, for those who see the four truths in the Dharma contained in the desire realm, it is called the tolerance and knowledge of Dharma; for the four of the two upper realms, it is called the subsequent tolerance and knowledge. Tolerance is the antidote to directly realizing the truth, the wisdom of the uninterrupted path without outflows; knowledge is its liberation path. For these sixteen, although there are various views of arising in sequence, arising simultaneously, and the way of establishing each, it is believed that the moment of the complete activity of wisdom that directly realizes the meaning of all Dharmas being without self, completely realizes the Dharma-nature of the four truths of the three realms, and is merely divided into sixteen aspects, which is in accordance with the actual situation. In particular, for the Mahayana school that sees all Dharmas as emptiness and free from elaboration, it is even more so. However, for the wisdom of elaboration with the aspect of the four truths, it is also possible to determine the sequence of arising in the order of suffering, its cause origination, its cessation, and the path, thereby completing the act of seeing the four truths. In this stage of the path of seeing, when the truth of Dharma-nature is seen with the eye of wisdom, it is said that the eye of Dharma without dust and free from defilement is born on the Dharma, in which tolerance is without dust and knowledge is free from defilement.

Obtaining superior vision, transcending doubt, not relying on others, not being led by other teachings, gaining fearlessness towards all phenomena, and so on. Through one's own self-aware wisdom, realizing the nature of reality, thereby generating faith in the Three Jewels, and obtaining superior qualities such as the precepts that please the noble ones. This path is the Dharma that realizes the truth of the nature of reality, and is the nature of the seven branches of enlightenment, with a focus on the wisdom of perfect discernment. The path of meditation refers to the yoga practice that occurs after obtaining the path of seeing and above it. It is divided into two types: the worldly path and the common path, as well as the uncommon transcendental path. First, the worldly path refers to the four dhyanas and the four formless absorptions, totaling eight. These are accomplished through seven types of attention, each achieving its respective equipoise. What are the seven? The attention of fully understanding the characteristics is: taking the first dhyana as an example, the desire realm is not peaceful, etc., and has many sufferings and faults, being coarse; while the first dhyana is the opposite, having a peaceful aspect. Through the wisdom of hearing and thinking, the mind is gathered inward and diligently purified, thereby striving to generate the equipoise of the first dhyana. The attention arising from aspiration is: as before, through purification, with the wisdom arising from meditation, the purification of the first dhyana, which transcends hearing and thinking, is generated. The attention arising from complete isolation is: also as before, through meditation, the antidote to abandoning the great category of what is to be abandoned through meditation in the desire realm is generated, thereby abandoning the manifest afflictions of the desire realm. The attention of gathering joy is: rejoicing in the joy and small pleasure arising from complete isolation, and seeing it as beneficial, constantly attending to strong faith, thereby abandoning the medium category of afflictions of the desire realm. The attention of investigation is: in this way, having abandoned most of the afflictions through antidotes, the thought arises whether all afflictions have been abandoned, and in order to observe whether afflictions arise, attending to behaviors that are in accordance with the arising of afflictions. The attention of the limit of combination is: having observed in this way, it is seen that afflictions still arise, as before
