If surrounded by six or ten earth atoms, if each part touched by different atoms exists, it will become part-possessing. If it does not exist, no matter how many atoms gather, it will not become larger. Therefore, the theory of indivisible and unbreakable is not established, and it will only become a mere imputation. The indivisible at the end of time is also like this. If its preceding and following indivisible parts have different parts facing them, it will become part-possessing. If it does not exist, even if accumulated to the moment at the end of time, it will not become long-lasting, but will only become a moment. Therefore, all appearances contained by direction and time are merely appearances of one's own mind. Such an appearance of dependent origination is called "other-powered," because it appears from the other-poweredness of dependent origination, not from its own essence. In the appearance of other-poweredness, the nature of various phenomena of conditioned and unconditioned dharmas, and the two selves falsely imputed to persons, are all completely imputed. The two selves, the objects of complete imputation, make the other-powered consciousness empty, which is the perfectly established nature, that is, the dharma nature. In this way, it is believed that in the ultimate truth, there exists a self-luminous awareness that is not the object of all elaborations and is empty of the apprehended and the apprehender. The Madhyamaka school believes that just as external objects are not established here, the mind that grasps them is also not established. Both of these are equally appearances of dependent origination, without their own essence. The belief that there is a real awareness that is not an object of elaboration is also merely an imputation. No matter what exists with its own nature and can be cognized, once its nature is examined, it cannot be established as truly existing in the slightest. Therefore, all phenomena appear dependently, merely as unmistaken appearances, without any truth established by their own nature, and therefore abide in emptiness. In this way, emptiness and dependent origination are established as different only from the perspective of opposites, but their essence is not established as different. This meaning of union, the state of being free from elaboration that each individual can realize for themselves, is called the "dharmadhatu." It is free from extremes such as permanence and annihilation, existence and non-existence, and is to be realized by the Middle Way. And in the state of realization, emptiness and dependent origination become one, or there is no difference, or they are in union, or they are equal. This is what they believe. There is no deeper reality than this.

It is determined according to the view. Therefore, it is unsurpassed among all schools. The two, Vaibhashika and Sautrantika, are Hinayana, and the two, Madhyamaka and Cittamatra, are Mahayana schools. Generating the two types of minds, conventional and ultimate, and practicing the meaning of Mahayana in the five paths and ten bhumis, it is the same because they desire to achieve the result of non-abiding Nirvana as Buddhahood. However, there are many differences in the internal details of Madhyamaka and Cittamatra, etc. Here, only the general outline is mentioned. Thus, based on the fact that the views of the schools become better and better, by realizing the nature of conventional and ultimate without inversion, one becomes proficient in what is and is not the case of all dharmas. This is the time to explain what is and is not the case. The twenty-two faculties are: the eye faculty, and similarly, the six from the ear to the mind faculty, which have the power to grasp their respective objects. The life faculty has the power to maintain the continuity of similar types. The male and female faculties have the power to make their respective supports and to maintain the continuity of birth from the womb. The faculty of pleasure, the feeling of happiness. Similarly, the five faculties of suffering, mental happiness, mental unhappiness, and equanimity have the power to enjoy the fruits of maturation. The five faculties of faith, diligence, mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom have the power to control worldly virtue or purity. The faculty of knowing everything, the faculty of knowing everything, the faculty of possessing all knowledge, that is, the faith, etc., in the continuum of the path of seeing, meditation, and no more learning, have the power to control the purity beyond the world, hence they are called faculties. Among them, the six faculties of the eye, etc., are as previously explained. However, the difference between them is that the mind faculty, which is divided by the category of the six faculties, is only the basis for generating consciousness. The mind faculty mentioned here must also be understood as the consciousness that arises from that basis. The way these six grasp their own objects is: the eye and ear faculties grasp from a distance without touching the object, and the object they grasp can be larger or smaller than themselves. The three faculties of nose, tongue, and body grasp by touching, and the object they grasp is the same size as themselves. Whether these objects and subjects touch or not can be analyzed in terms of whether they have tangible contact with each other. The mind faculty not only takes the dharmadhatu as its object, but also takes all dharmas as its object.
