The seventh is easy to understand. In the eighth chapter, obtaining liberation and omniscience depends on the path, and the path depends entirely on the virtuous spiritual friend. Therefore, it is very important to rely on a spiritual friend, and its characteristics are widely stated in the sutras and tantras. Here, the essential points are summarized into instructions. First, the flawless and perfect guru, such as Vimalamitra in India, and Vairochana in Tibet. The guru who is perfect in innate qualities, such as the chariot Asanga and Jetsun Drakpa. The most supreme guru who is completely liberated from worldly affairs, such as Shantideva and Dromtonpa. The guru with vast wisdom and good fortune, such as Nagarjuna and Rongzompa. The guru with the blessings of the lineage, such as Naropa and Milarepa. The guru who guides the path with compassion, such as Tilopa and Marpa. The guru who reveals the ultimate essential meaning, such as Shri Singha and Lacheun Senge Wangchuk. The ninth and tenth chapters are easy to understand. In the eleventh chapter, the first of the thirty-six faults that must be abandoned. The six works of Mara are: In the Mahayana Sutra called "The King Who Arranges All the Qualities of the Noble Dharma," it says: 'Son of lineage, these four are the works of Mara for writing and listening to this category of Dharma.' What are the four? Laziness, disbelief, not serving the guru, etc., can be clearly understood from these places. The four works of Mara are divided into three groups, totaling twelve. The six mentioned here actually include the other six, so here it is said to be six. The six obscuring actions are: In the Sutra Requested by Blo-gros rGya-mtsho, from the end of the seventh volume of the eighth chapter, it says that there are four categories of dharmas that can become obstacles to the Mahayana, totaling forty. In the first group of four, the first four of the six obscuring actions are directly indicated. The last two are mentioned in the fourth group of four, regarding the virtuous spiritual friend as an evil friend, regarding the evil friend as a virtuous spiritual friend, regarding non-dharma as dharma, and regarding dharma as non-dharma. These four are regarded as two here. The six causes of abandoning the Dharma are indicated from the sutra just mentioned. The first is mentioned in the thirteenth group of four, summarizing the three hypocritical actions of body, speech, and mind into one to indicate.

The end of it is the fourth of this. The remaining four are explained in the fifteenth of the four sets. The six faults of straying from the Dharma are explained from what was just said. The first four are explained in the thirty-sixth of the four sets, and the fifth is mostly gathered here, symbolized by the four views of the thirty-seventh of the four sets, explained in the context above and below. The sixth also explains through meaning the three obscurations explained by the last set, and the results of demonic actions, such as many diseases and evil spirits. Most of the meanings above and below are also gathered here. The six faults of perversion are explained in the eighteenth chapter of the Ratnakuta Sutra, the Sutra Requested by the Guardian of the Land. Among them, the first two are explained by speaking of the four precipices of the Bodhisattva, and the middle two are gathered in the explanation of the four dharmas that obstruct Bodhi. The fifth is clarified by speaking of the four things that should not be relied upon, and the sixth is explained by the meaning of explaining the four dharmas of the ripening of suffering and the four bonds. The six dharmas that deviate from the Mahayana are from the Manjushri Emanation Sutra. From the occasion of "These twenty sons of gods are the most excellent deeds of the demons of the Bodhisattvas," and so on. Among them, the first one taught here is: "Not seeking the Bodhisattva's collection, but holding the secret words of throwing the world away," and the second is taught directly. The third is taught by: "Even if one knows the Bodhisattva's path, one does not seek the path of the Paramitas completely." The sixth is: "A Bodhisattva who speaks the Dharma does not rely on those who have rightly entered the Great Vehicle and have equal fortune," and so on, up to "The twenty most excellent deeds of the demons." The fourth and fifth were missing from the original, and the additions made here completely include all the remaining demonic deeds. If these meanings were explained in detail, it would be too much, so it is omitted, and it is clear from looking at the Sutra itself. The first group of the thirty-six qualities, the six cherished aspirations, are from the wisdom section of the Sutra Requested by Good Arms. It is taught by "He understands these dharmas to be precious and abides closely," and so on, thinking that holding the Dharma is meaningful, even sacrificing life, and so on. In this case, the cherished thought, abandoning the search for the Dharma, although not explicitly stated, but
