Although the volume is very large, if everything were written down, the words would be frightening, so here I collect some difficult points to write about. The six aspects formed from the time of the six ministers are summarized into three aspects, namely: the teachings of the wise, the king, and the people. Among them, the wise man is the astrologer, who teaches the first three aspects; the king governs the country with divine law, that is, the tradition of the Chakravartin, etc.; the people are divided into three types: leaders or ministers, merchants, and commoners. Among them, merchants learn to examine the fifth aspect, and leaders and commoners learn the sixth aspect. Among them, the leader protects the regime by understanding the rise and fall of the political power, and the common people understand how to protect their own regime through food, clothing, shelter, and transportation, so they must learn the treasury of protecting the regime. The so-called "knowing wisdom" is knowing knowledge, which is another name for the wise man. Regarding the four views of permanence and annihilation of myself and the world, and the four views of some people saying annihilation, the meaning is the same, because some people say annihilation, and some people think it is permanent. It is also unreasonable to say "I have the ability to act that pervades sentient beings," meaning that because all sentient beings have me, it pervades everything, or it is thought that I pervade my body. The Samkhya school believes that when proving the existence of the self, using false arguments as a sign, thinking that this will establish the desired self. The Samkhya school says: The twenty-four dharmas such as the eyes are for the service of others, because they are gathered and accumulated. For example, like mattresses and cushions. This is how they argue. This is because it is impossible to directly present the real reason for proving the existence of the self. Therefore, the twenty-four knowable things are taken as the basis of the argument or the subject, because there are only twenty-five knowable things, and apart from that, there is no other self, that is, the Pudgala of wisdom. If so, the eyes and others can serve him, then I will also be established, they say this to the Buddhists. Here, if it is not to prove the desired self, but only to prove that the eyes and others are helpful to things other than the eyes and others, then it is only proving what has already been established, which does not help to establish the desired self at all. If you want to prove according to what is desired, then this sign cannot do it, because there is no connection. Therefore, the way those arguments are presented

As detailed in the Commentary on Valid Cognition, this contradicts valid cognition. When refuting the 'Self,' 'liberated from other non-existents' merely means not being like a goat's horn, etc. Although it is not other non-existent, it cannot establish its own existence. The statement 'the Self pervades pleasure, pain, and delusion' and 'the Self pervades from pleasure, pain, and delusion' have two different examples, but in any case, there is no contradiction. According to the first statement, one 'Self' cannot pervade the three feelings, because the 'Self' itself does not exist. According to the second statement, from the signs of pleasure, pain, and equanimity, the existence of the 'Self' cannot be pervaded, because following and contradicting them cannot be established. Like trees and the sky. Here, it is understood according to the latter statement. Furthermore, the meaning of 'focusing on the pleasure and pain of the Self's image' is, if one says, 'the Self exists because the Self's image is the object of pleasure, etc.,' then the basis of the subject, the Self itself, is not established, therefore, the pervasion is not established. Furthermore, the meaning of 'merely following nature and ability does not necessarily become one' is, if one follows nature, then I and the 'Self' follow the nature of mere knowledge, and foxes and lions follow the nature of mere living beings, but it is shown that they are not one. The former is admitted by himself, and the latter is contradicted by direct perception. Following ability is like a sprout arising from a seed. To refute this, the commentary says, 'If existence is proven by production, then it is a contradictory sign,' etc. The meaning is, if one proves that the seed exists now because the seed produces a sprout, it is contradictory, because the cause ceases at the time of the result and cannot be produced again, just as it does not exist. Therefore, the cause, the Self, cannot be established now at the time of the result. If one proves by 'other than aggregation,' etc., the meaning is, as before, the sign of proving that the eyes, etc., serve others is meaningless. Merely establishing the other does not establish the self, just as proving cloth from a pot becomes irrelevant. Here, if the 'other' refers to the desired 'I,' the Purusha with knowledge, then the example of mattresses, etc., cannot establish serving the benefit of the permanent self, therefore, the example does not have following. If one says that merely the other is to be proven, then the eyes, etc., can know the form, etc., of the other.
