It should be known that all distinctions of "existent" should be prevented in this way. Secondly, there are cases where prior and subsequent commitments, and the words "one's own words" etc., harm the meaning of the commitment through direct perception, inference, and fame. Therefore, just as in the example of preventing the specific characteristics of dharma desired by the Vaiśeṣika school as previously stated, other examples of seeming commitments should also be understood in this way. Among these, when the meaning of a commitment is harmed by a commitment or a valid cognition, it is prevented in a way that harms the nature and distinctions of its dharma and dharmin. Among these, an example of harming the nature of the dharmin is: Substance, as a dharmin, is not existent, because substance and गुण(梵文天城体,guṇa,梵文罗马拟音,guṇa,quality)etc. would become substance and non-substance. This is mainly prevented by commitment. The Vaiśeṣika school believes that substance and गुण(梵文天城体,guṇa,梵文罗马拟音,guṇa,quality)are different and depend on each other like pillars in a house, so it is argued that such a substance does not exist. Because if it exists in that way, since substance and गुण(梵文天城体,guṇa,梵文罗马拟音,guṇa,quality)are different, substance would also become non-substance, because गुण(梵文天城体,guṇa,梵文罗马拟音,guṇa,quality)etc. are not in it. Other non-substances, such as गुण(梵文天城体,guṇa,梵文罗马拟音,guṇa,quality)etc., since they do not depend on substance, would also become non- गुण(梵文天城体,guṇa,梵文罗马拟音,guṇa,quality), etc., and the definitions of substance and गुण(梵文天城体,guṇa,梵文罗马拟音,guṇa,quality)that one has set would become confused. If white exists in a different way from a conch shell, then the conch shell is not white, and the white is not of the conch shell. Therefore, merely by reversing it, the intention of the Vaiśeṣika school will not be achieved, and for Buddhists, it will become proving what has already been established. Therefore, that reasoning harms the argument that substance and गुण(梵文天城体,guṇa,梵文罗马拟音,guṇa,quality)are different. That is also harming the nature of the dharmin—substance. A limb is not different from limbs, because it would become non-direct perception. This is also similar to the case of using a low scale in the distinction of dharma. If a limb or limbs are taken as a dharmin, then preventing that different dharma of the dharmin, it would become preventing the distinction of the dharmin. "All speech is not of true meaning" is an example of preventing both dharma and dharmin. Because the speech of myself—the speaker—is also included in all speech, therefore it is desired that my speech shows meaning, so it harms its distinction and the distinction of truth—the expressed meaning, or in general, it harms speech and

It is to prevent the nature of truth. Second, refuting the tenets of others, including: refuting the definition of the tenets accepted by others; refuting examples of seemingly valid tenets. The first includes: refuting based on the expressive words; refuting based on the expressed meaning; refuting the refutation of faults, avoiding affirmation, and desired responses. The first includes: if the example and reason are not established, it becomes a tenet; preventing the difference in their responses. The first includes: showing the reality and its rationale. First, in the "Compendium," when refuting the definition of the tenets of others, the logicians say: "Showing what is to be established," in this statement, it is done by meaning that it is not established. If so, the reason and example, if not established, will also become what is to be established. So it is said. To this, the logicians say that whatever is to be established, whatever is to be shown to others, is a tenet. Previously, it was not established by valid cognition, but it was done by the meaning of the words. This shows that it has not been established, so it is understood as not established. However, whatever is not established, whatever should be established by reason, everything will become what is to be established. This should not be, because what is now becoming what is to be established is what is to be established, not just what will become what is to be established in the future. If so, then in your definition of a tenet, there is no place to cut off such doubts, because the "should" of "should be established" is because it has the object of the three times. For example, "Sound is permanent, because it is apprehended by the eye." And "Sound is permanent, because it is embodied," like "Awareness." Thus, the example and reason are established in other schools, if it is not its nature, but an unestablished dharma, it is established in this way before other debaters, at the time of establishment, if one does not want that proof to become a tenet, then it will also become what is to be established in meaning, because it is showing what is to be established to others. Second, since it is the time to analyze what is to be established by the knowable reason, there is no fault that the example and reason are not established, then it becomes a tenet, just as the potter understands only the pot by the word "should be established," and does not understand the wheel, etc., so the accusation that the example and reason are not established, then it becomes a tenet is unreasonable. This is very reasonable, because here it is also said in the context of establishing the knowable reason, and whatever should be established by the reason, everything that was not established before, will also be understood by this reason.
