That is, refutation must cut off the object to be refuted and make it the object of consciousness. Since the object to be refuted is completely cut off and obstructed, the non-existence of the object to be refuted is completely determined, which seems to be the way the dharma depends on it. Due to its power, it seems not to prevent other contradictions. Moreover, the term that establishes as "is existent" or negates as "not non-existent" by the method of statement, causes this concept to arise in the mind. Therefore, for words that have the exclusion of others as their object, various terms are applied sequentially, and they can converge on one dharma. Second, if analyzed correctly, then the words related to things that do not actually exist are terms that arise dependent on meaning, in whatever way, indicated by the mind that has been passed down from beginningless time, that is, what the mind itself naturally presents, whether this as it appears itself is established, without examining, one admits that the support of contradictory meanings is the meaning of the word itself, which depends on the way of worldly terms. Even if one admits in this way depending on the way of worldly terms, if analyzed correctly, since reason cannot establish it, one thinks there will be harm, it is not so. Like this, in the world arising from the habits of seeing and being accustomed to from beginningless time, the meaning of terms exists in this way, the reason that analyzes in ultimate truth will not overthrow and harm it. Because language is merely for understanding meaning, and understanding meaning also merely arises in the way of appearance, examination, and mixture, this is undeniable. Merely this can establish terms, therefore even if analyzed in ultimate truth, it will not cause harm to merely this, and these terms are used without examination, not for the meaning of things, because people think in this way. Third, the eye faculty itself is the result of eye consciousness, and is without the result of ear consciousness, while the ear faculty is the opposite of this, therefore the eye faculty is different from the ear faculty. Similarly, even if many different dharmas are stated on the same dharma by way of excluding others, the nature of the meaning is merely one self-character, there is no difference. However, in the face of the discrimination of excluding objects, for the dharma that has become the support of contradictory opposites, whatever dharma to be established is placed, it is like an increase. And, from the perspective of stating refutation, the object to be refuted is like a decrease from the support.

. Those that are corrupted by notions of increase and decrease, and those that distinguish between dharma and dharmic entities, and cling to relationships such as 'this is this,' due to some causes, although in reality the dharmic entity does not possess that dharma as distinct, yet one's own discriminating mind sees it as such and combines them together. Therefore, even if those are corruptions, one should know that they are corruptions themselves, but it is not that one does not engage in terminology, because this is the time to rely on terminology and take expression seriously. For example, when saying, 'Sound is impermanent, because it is produced,' if the mind does not understand it in the same way as sound distinguishes, then the terminology will not be established. From this, it can be inferred that dharmic entities can also be like the three, matter, consciousness, and non-associated formations, which are grouped together as things, and then decreased, or divided from one to many, divided into matter, consciousness, and non-associated formations. Even matter is divided into the five objects and five faculties, which is like an increase. However, apart from the exclusion of whether a certain part of the result exists or not, it is only a classification and summarization in the face of discrimination. In terms of the actual meaning of things, there is no such increase or decrease, or affirmation and negation, because the nature of the terminology of things themselves cannot change. Second, examining the basis of dependence: showing the reasoning that refutes, and summarizing its established meaning. First, the basis of dependence itself is not established, and even if the place is established, the pervasion is not established, and even if the pervasion is established, the self is not established. First, when proving that a living body has a self, and using 'having life' as the reason, when analyzing whether the pervasion exists or not, one must first know what the basis of dependence of the two pervasions is, but one cannot know the place, this is what is to be shown. Like this, in the view of Buddhists, it is precisely when there is a self that the reason for proof is established or posited, therefore there will be doubt as to whether the self does not exist, therefore vases and so on are also not established as selfless, so they will not become dissimilar. If you say, because Buddhists have already admitted that vases and so on are selfless, why will they not become dissimilar? If his admission is valid, then the living body will also become selfless, so it will become dissimilar. If you say that admitting that the living body is selfless is not valid, then the Buddhist's admission
