Then, because it can represent one aspect of the nature example, and with the aim of being produced by effort, there are many necessary conditions such as the impossibility of permanence. So, what is the reason why this is both a sign of self-nature and can also be a sign of effect? Because the made and the impermanent are established as a single relationship, the sound is assembled by causes and conditions, and from the contradictory aspect of not staying in the second moment, it is distinguished that the essence is not established as different. Similarly, the difference in the general cause and condition aggregation is the difference in the cause, which is born from the effort of a person, and impermanence exists on the sound without difference as a single relationship, so it is a sign of self-nature. However, not all impermanence is born of effort, so it cannot be made to pervade the same category, but on the sound itself, there is no difference between being born of effort and impermanence. However, if it is taken as a sign of effect, then if the sound produced by effort itself is regarded as the effect, then before there is no effort, the sound does not exist, but is produced from other causes, so the sound is a new thing that did not exist before. Even if only having a cause is established, but since the cause such as effort has already been established, it is not a real sign of proving the cause by the effect. Therefore, the sign of effect is suggestive. For example, if at this time "produced by effort" is regarded as the dharma of the sound of the thing itself, then it will become a sign of self-nature, so this is to establish the auditory consciousness aimed at being produced by effort there, that is, to establish the name of the thing on the thing that has the thing. If there is no need, why establish it? Because it is necessary, because the distinctions of being made and arising and ceasing are also established from direct perception, so establish it in this way, and do not confuse the thing that has the thing, in order to know that apart from the object, there can be no other distinctions. Second, refuting the argument: The other party says, then, if so, if the auditory consciousness aimed at the object is the effect, then let us admit that it is the effect of the sound, but how does it prove that the sound is impermanent? Because there is no contradiction in being the effect of the sound being permanent. For example, effort makes the sound appear on the object of the previously existing auditory consciousness, but does not produce it, so it cannot be taken as an example of the sign of effect. If the sound is permanent, then it already exists before the effort is born

If it is said that auditory consciousness arises with sound as its object, then it would only be constantly present, and it would not be certain that it arises immediately after effort is exerted by the tongue, palate, etc. For example, the effort to remove the obscuration of permanent sound, to the sense organ as the object, and to the nature of the sound itself, does not serve as a direct auxiliary action that benefits in all aspects. Therefore, although it is not necessarily the case that it arises immediately after effort, if there is never hearing without effort and there is certain hearing immediately after effort, then the auditory consciousness of hearing sound cannot be said to be the result of permanent sound. If sound is permanent but is not heard because it is obscured, then why does effort not act on the obscuration? Because there is no distinction between before and after for the permanent, the state of being obscured and not being obscured cannot be distinguished, so for that which cannot be obscured, there is no obscuration, and therefore the action of removing the obscuration cannot occur. If it is thought that it is like a previously existing vase being illuminated by a lamp, then the vase is impermanent, so it can be obscured or not obscured in a moment's continuum, but this is not possible for the permanent. It is also not reasonable to say that by exerting effort to benefit the sense organ, permanent sound is heard. If permanent sound is the cause, then it does not always produce auditory consciousness as its result, but relies on the sense organ that has been improved by effort as a co-operative condition, and sometimes produces it, then it will lose its indistinguishable nature. If the nature of sound itself is permanent and is not differentiated by conditions, then how does it rely on effort? Therefore, effort does not do even a particle of action in causing auditory consciousness to arise for permanent sound. If such permanent sounds, which do not depend on conditions, are to be the cause of generating the wisdom that is their object, then it is contradictory that they do not produce the auditory consciousness of sound perception as a result at some times. Therefore, this auditory consciousness of sound perception arising from effort is not the result of the permanent, but is an impermanent phenomenon that does not exist permanently but arises from causes and conditions, which is established as the result of impermanent sound. Therefore, the result arising from effort is either the result-sign that proves the impermanent nature of its cause sound, or merely the result-sign that proves the existence of its cause impermanent phenomenon. Second, proving impermanence by the result arising from effort in this way is proving by the result-sign.
