It is meaningless to establish a tenet in front of Buddhists, because no argument can be established, so it will only become a promise. Second, There are two types: summary and detailed explanation. First, if the opponent believes that the scripture he acknowledges is correct, then that scripture can be used as an argument for him. Therefore, in front of Buddhists, the scripture that considers arising and ceasing can establish unconsciousness. If someone says that it can be established due to the opponent's intention, then merely because of an individual's thought, it does not mean that things are established as such. If that were the case, then according to how the thought determines, the truth and non-truth of things could be determined. Then, merely because it is determined, it can be established there. Therefore, there is no difference between a correct reason and something that merely appears to be a reason. All things that are considered reasons by individuals are correct, and all things that are considered correct but cannot be established will become similar. Because an individual's thought or the argument he sets up does not rely on the truth of things, but only on the individual's thought. Second, if something exists and is cognized, it can be established. Otherwise, it cannot be established in the eyes of both. First, the argument does not just follow the individual's attachment, but depends on the fact that the three characteristics are complete, that the thing exists in reality and is cognized as existing. If something does not exist, but is considered to exist, it cannot prove that thing. If something exists, but is not cognized as such and used as a sign, and it is assumed that the thing to be proven can be understood from a sign that is unrelated to the thing to be proven, then even if it is thought to be understanding, it is no different from not understanding at all. If analyzed, then from that sign There is no reason to definitely understand it, so it merely ends with the idea arising from relying on one's own inverted reason. For example, thinking that sound is impermanent or composed of particles because it is measurable, or mistaking steam for smoke and understanding fire from it. Therefore, even if unconsciousness is allowed to exist, understanding it from the sign of arising and ceasing is only a presumption. Therefore, even if the sign is correct, but without knowing how it is established, that correct sign and the similar sign

Because of similarity, it should not be called inference from signs, but rather an illusion based on reasons. Second, if something like ease of mind and lack of concern has a valid means of establishment, then all valid signs are either nature or result, i.e., the two reasons for establishment; or it is the very non-appearance of what is capable of appearing, i.e., the sign of negation of non-observation, and it does not go beyond any of these. The establishment of ease of mind and lack of concern is included in these and is a sign of establishment. If the relation of non-arising without the sign-property is not merely conceptual, but is established in the object itself, then why is it not established for the Samkhyas themselves? It must be established. If it is not established for oneself, then even those who accept the scriptures of other Buddhas should not understand from the statement of proof of other Samkhyas, because that sign has no reason to establish that. Third, the answer to the debate is: If one cannot posit the acceptance of others as a sign, then how is it that you and the previous teachers also posit the acceptance of the opponent as a sign and establish what is not desired? To establish that another's pervasively conceived acceptance as a sign is a consequence of his own undesired dharma, is because both the consequence to be established and the sign that establishes it are related, and if the pervasive consequence to be established does not exist, then the other pervasive sign is also not established, in order to refute it. For example, the Vaisheshikas believe that the generality of a cow, which is partless and single, is simultaneously connected and related to all clear appearances. The generality of a cow, which is the subject, is necessarily composed of many parts, because it is simultaneously connected and related to its many clear appearances. When this is stated, that sign is not established by valid cognition, but is established by the opponent's acceptance. If that is established, it will become many parts, because if there is no connection with many objects of connection, there is no possibility of connection with many, and the connection between the sign and the dharma is established, so it does not establish a generality with many parts, but shows that one's own commitment harms the vow to desire a partless generality, that is, if the consequence to be established of the sign of consequence, many parts, does not exist, then the sign that is accepted will also not exist, and for establishing such a consequence, positing acceptance as a sign is not contradictory.
