Po. When explaining the four exclusions from the Sutra, if it is said that the phrase "its own basis" does not need to be mentioned, because it is implicitly established through exclusion. Then, the necessity of this complete exclusion is that, in debate, if harm is done to the basis or subject that possesses the dharma that the opponent himself wants to establish, then excluding the basis will become the fault of not establishing the proposition. If it is not the dharma to be established at that time, but another dharma that harms the subject, it is not an exclusion. Other than that, if harm is done to another subject, then what obstructs or excludes this proposition at that time? There is no exclusion. In order to understand this, it is said "its own basis." If the exclusion falls on the subject that is the basis of the proposition at that time, then the thesis is not established. Second, why is it necessary to mention it when excluding it? Because it is already established by the meaning of "self-admitted" when explaining the definition of the thesis. Because the collection is not taken as the proposition, but there is no desire to know each individual member, and if the basis of that proposition is destroyed, then that dharma is established
