To set aside a refutation based on someone else's position is like the behavior of Ishvara. It is clearly evident that it is like a command issued forcibly by powerful individuals such as royalty, against the wishes of others. This is not the way of reasoning to investigate the truth. This refers to this meaning. When it is possible to know "this is what the opponent desires," or when any verbal expression that does not possess the sign of a result is asserted as something to be proven, without a sign that can infer it, the refuter thinks that the other's intention is harmed by his own commitment and reason. This is actually harming oneself through one's own delusion, because one has chosen irrelevant reasoning. Second, if it harms something that is related to the subject matter to be proven and without which it would not arise, then it hinders the establishment of the subject matter to be proven, just as in the case of sound being impermanent, yet one asserts that it is uncreated, and in the case of seeking liberation, one asserts that there is a self. Even if it harms something else that is not without which it would not arise, how could it harm the other subject matter to be proven in the context? It cannot harm or hinder anything, because there is no connection. Second, the objects that scripture can and cannot harm are distinguished and shown. For the second object of measurement, scripture is not needed. For the third, one measures with correct scripture. First, abandon the object itself and the dispute about it. First, when inference enters its own field of activity, it is said that there is no need to rely on scripture at all. Because those things that can be resolved through reasoning are decided by reasoning itself, there is no need for scripture to prove or negate them. Therefore, what is established through inference is well established by inference alone. The nature of things cannot be changed by mere words, so when inference analyzes its own object, there is no need to consider whether it contradicts the scriptures or not. If inference is established as a valid cognition, scripture is not needed; if inference is not established, scripture cannot prove it. Therefore, even for those things that one cannot thoroughly analyze by one's own power alone at first, one must rely on the light of correct scripture, and from that, a non-inverted inference arises. From the things that inference can decide, one should analyze them through inference itself, and there is no need for scripture to prove them. Then, the scripture that contradicts inference

Not to mention that it cannot become a reason for establishment. Therefore, like subtle impermanence and selflessness, etc., which can be established through inference, when the light of wisdom that has studied the correct scriptures grows, by the power of one's own intelligence, it can be established through reasoning that arises from the power of things themselves, and it can also be established for those opponents who do not accept that scripture. As Maitreya Bodhisattva said: Just as lamps, jewels, sun, and moon, those with eyes see by relying on them. Similarly, the stainless light of Dharma wisdom, relying on the Sage, explains this very well. The reasoning is the same. Second, if one does not rely on the scriptures, then will one abandon the debate by grasping different aspects of the scriptures and due to different desires? If one analyzes the meaning of the scriptures, then since there is no commitment that the scriptures are the reason for establishment and the reason for harm, it is not abandoning the debate, but rather debating what is appropriate and inappropriate from the path of reasoning of the power of things themselves. Analyzing the meaning spoken in the scriptures with the reasoning of the power of things themselves is a way to acknowledge any scripture that measures objects that are extremely hidden and does not deceive as a reliable scripture. Otherwise, if there are two scriptures with contradictory meanings, such as showing that there are past and future lives and that there are no past and future lives, then both cannot be non-deceptive scriptures. Therefore, that which is not pure through analysis is a scripture-like appearance and cannot be acknowledged as a correct scripture. Therefore, analysis is a way to acknowledge the scripture itself as a scripture. Therefore, one analyzes the object of inference with the reasoning of the power of things themselves, and at that time, even if there are respective scriptures, that scripture does not become a part of the reason for establishment at that time. If it were, then inference would not be allowed, and all contradictory meanings would also be established, so it is not reasonable. Second, only the extremely hidden, the scriptures are the reason for establishment, other than that, it is too much. First, then what is to be realized by relying on the scriptures? What cannot be established if harmed by the scriptures? Like this, after analyzing the meaning of the scriptures well with reasoning, if one completely clears away doubts about the first two objects to be measured, then seeing such a situation is the time when one wants to fully accept that treatise with faith, and at that time, treatises like that and
