One should engage in realizing individually with undefiled wisdom. Third, refuting disputes, refuting contradictions with reason and scripture. First, it is not appropriate for those three to be false, and if it is appropriate, then establishing the three is not reasonable, dispute. First, the dispute and its answer. First, if all that appears as grasper and grasped is false, then not even one true thing can exist, therefore an example of falsehood cannot exist either. Because falsehood must be established as false in dependence on truth, if everything is false, then what can be used as an example? Therefore, there will also be doubt that everything is true. Just as from seeing mutually similar things, one clings to mirages as water and fish foam as silver, it is not its own nature but clings to it as its own nature, therefore worldly people give rise to illusions. Thus, truth and falsehood are established in mutual dependence. In your system, there is no such distinction of falsehood, because in this momentary, non-abiding flow, or in this world, not even one true thing is seen, because everything that appears, encompassed by grasper and grasped, is considered false. Therefore, how can one believe that everything is false? One might doubt, with what kind of example does it become false? If one says so, it is not necessary to establish an example of falsehood by relying on a previously existing truth, because one's own self is an example of falsehood, able to establish it with dazzling appearances and so on. From beginningless time, the appearance of the two graspers and grasped arising from the inner defilement of ignorance, that is because the nature of things is not seen as it is, but comes from the fault of appearing upside down, from that ignorance. Merely appearing as one's own nature, from one's own nature, there are also cases of appearing upside down like this, it does not necessarily have to be a falsehood that is superimposed from other true things. For example, how does one superimpose other things onto other things from seeing similar things, and like the self and so on, due to special clinging, superimposing and so on, without relying on these, but due to the confusion of one's own nature, just as due to dazzling, hairs and a double moon and so on appear, realizing that it is not established in meaning by the reason of correct observation, cannot be prevented by anyone. Second, that

If these three are false, then because the grasping aspect grasps the grasped aspect, it is considered that the grasping aspect is the establisher of self-awareness, and after establishing the three of valid cognition, result, and object of measurement, all appearances are ultimately established as merely the experience of self-awareness, is this also false, will it become confused? Answer: In the ultimate sense, these three are not established, so even if they are false, there is no contradiction. But in the conventional sense, establishing the three of valid cognition, result, and object of measurement, and all experiences abiding in merely self-awareness, this will not become false in terms of the conventional aspect of appearance. Because when establishing the name of self-awareness, how this appearance is, the mind appearing therein, is merely the grasped aspect, established by the power of things. That is what one's own knowledge completely determines, which is considered to be the grasping aspect. This is also established manifestly in the conventional sense. The two, grasper and grasped, also experience differently because of different minds, just like examining the experience of external objects, it is impossible to experience, so the grasper is also the nature of the object of knowledge, therefore it is self-nature awareness, so the grasping aspect is the establisher of self-awareness. Because that is the reason for establishing it as such. For example, the proponents of substantiality also think that desire and so on are experienced by their own knowledge. Like this, establishing the nature of knowledge as an object, for example, the appearance of blue is established as a way that there is no choice other than knowledge, if so, relative to that, the part of the grasped aspect is the object of measurement, and the grasping aspect that appears as the grasper is the measuring, and the self-awareness established by experiencing it abides in the manner of the result, these three ways, this is the consciousness with dualistic appearance, it should be applied to all objects of measurement, because everything appears in that way. Like this, no matter what object is known, for that object, knowledge also does not exceed its own nature of experiencing. Those knowledges are able to experience their own nature, this is the nature of things, so there is no need to examine other reasons. Like this, with the nature of being able to experience, established by valid cognition, that is the consciousness of measuring, so it is valid cognition. The nature of that knowledge is also the object of measurement, although it appears as two, but in reality it is merely the part of the clear experience of that consciousness in that aspect, self-awareness is also the result. These are like that for the name of non-deceptive appearance.
