If it is said that it hinders the continuous holding, it is unreasonable, because the previous consciousness has the nature of generating another consciousness that takes itself as its object, and in the internal part where the ability is certain, that is, becoming the cause of generating wisdom, it is always present. For these, how can the other external parts, that is, the objects of consciousness, such as form, etc., cause obstacles? It is established that it will not cause obstacles. Because the ability to generate consciousness is the existence of previous wisdom, and it is very close to the later wisdom, and there is no other reason besides that. Just like the blue color in a suitable place. Second, there are two types: refuting based on meaningful things; refuting based on meaningless things. First, if you think that the approach of external things will cause obstacles, why can't it? External things such as form, even if they are close as the object of consciousness, cannot hinder the holding of the previous consciousness, because there is an internal part of the object that is closer than that. Otherwise, even if there is an internal object, if it is hindered by the proximity of the environment, then when the external environment becomes very close, no one will experience their own consciousness, so how can they recall their own consciousness when watching local operas, etc., and not experience it? If it is thought that there are situations where external things do not approach, then for a person with five aggregates, there is no situation where external things do not approach or do not approach, so they will never experience their own consciousness, and if there is no experience at all, then the memory of the previous consciousness such as "My consciousness is like this" will also disappear, so this kind of thinking is really wonderful, this is thinking. Second, for the conceptualizations of past, future, etc., there is no situation where the external object is close, so due to the power of the environment's own characteristics being close, There is no reason to transfer consciousness to the outside, so it is impossible for the mind to think about things that do not have their own characteristics as objects now, such as the past. Second, for the answer to the exhaustion of the previous wisdom's ability: refuting wanting other abilities from things; establishing the reason, establishing one's own sect. First, there are two types: refuting the overall exhaustion of the previous wisdom's ability; refuting the weakening of the ability to grasp parts. First, there are two types: the former faction's statement and its answer. First, if the previous wisdom has the ability to generate later consciousness that takes itself as its object

If it is thought that (the previous moment's) consciousness does not generate the subsequent consciousness when it still has some ability, but gradually exhausts its ability, and then transfers and grasps external objects, then (how to answer)? The second part is the answer: stating faults and refuting arguments. The first point: If this is the case, then from which immediately preceding consciousness does the consciousness that grasps the object, which has transferred from the previous moment's consciousness, arise? Because you believe that your previous moment's consciousness has exhausted its ability, so whatever has exhausted the ability to produce fruit, like a burnt seed, cannot be a cause. Therefore, the subsequent consciousness will not transfer to the object either, because if the previous moment's consciousness does not have the ability to immediately generate the subsequent consciousness, the subsequent consciousness will not arise. For example, even if the objects of form, sound, etc. are nearby, but because the mind is particularly attached to other things such as the mind-imagined beauty, the attention that produces other cognitions of sound, etc. immediately loses its function, then even if the object exists, other cognitions will not arise, that is, it is not seen. The second point: What is reasonable is to state one's own refutation of arguments, and what is unreasonable is to refute the views of other schools. The first point is that consciousness enters the object, and by this power, other subsequent cognitions arise.
