It is said that knowledge arises from the meaning of the object, and considering this as its cause, in this regard, it is done on the surface of the phenomenon, and it is accepted without investigation and analysis, so there is no fault. Secondly, like some phenomena such as double moons and horses and cattle in dreams, when they appear, the essence of the thing itself does not appear as real, but knowledge itself appears as a thing. How can such a thing hold the external object? If you think so, it will be unreasonable. To this, you are very right, and I also do it on the surface of the phenomenon that seems to have an external object, and without investigation, I say that the phenomenon produced by the external object can measure the external object. If a correct analysis is made, I do not understand how knowledge holds external objects. Just as it is said above that knowledge can never hold external objects, this is the true state of things. Secondly, for things, there is no difference between the measurer, the measurement, and the measured, but it appears as three, which shows that it is wrong. Prove emptiness by distinguishing things. This is to eliminate disputes about this. First, it appears as three because of being blinded. Rely on this to establish names. First, the measurer, the measurement, and the measured are essentially just consciousness, and there is no difference, but those with inverted views, like the taker, the measured object, the holder, the measurer, and the result experienced by it, self-awareness, etc., exist independently, fabricate, and establish names and understandings like that. For example, for those who are blinded by senses, mantras, medicines, and samadhi, things such as clay lumps, wooden sticks, pebbles, etc., which are separated from the images of horses and cattle, etc., will also appear as other images of horses and cattle, etc. If it is thought that this is not an illusion, but a manifestation produced by causes and conditions such as mantras and medicines, then it is not. If clay lumps, etc., are produced there, they must change their essence, but eyes that are not blinded by confusing factors such as mantras will not see the clay lumps, etc., as other horses and cattle, etc. Secondly, for example, in a distant desert, small objects will appear very large, and similarly, for things, the taker, the holder, and the three who recognize it are not independent of each other.

Furthermore, regarding the three states of the object to be measured, the measuring valid cognition, and the self-awareness that results from that measurement as the fruit, in the mind, they are named according to how they appear in the mind. Or, as it appears, so it follows. Thus it is said. Second, establishing emptiness by differentiating the meaning: If it were not based on the way things appear, fabricating and dividing them into three categories, then how could these three aspects appear to a single object of mind, which appears as the nature of various forms, and thus become true? If the way things appear differently were true, then oneness would be lost. Moreover, if it is true to itself in its own object, then the object, the subject, and the awareness of it would exist in three ways, and these three would become different. If so, just as the pillar, the vase, and the woolen cloth are different things, the term "mind experiencing the object" would be completely reversed, because these three could never be proven to be related to the nature of one mind. Therefore, it is impossible for truth to exist in multiplicity, and if it is thought that these three are true in one, then the appearance of multiplicity, for others who are not themselves, the otherness itself would be lost. Moreover, the appearances of happiness and suffering, blue and yellow, and those that appear as object and subject, also appear differently on the level of appearance, but there is no seeing that they are the same in nature, therefore, various things are not true in one nature. If it appears as different, and not like that, if no difference is seen in the entity of the mind, then therefore, all the objects to be measured that appear, such as blue, yellow, etc., must necessarily be determined as one whole without difference, but that is not reasonable. In this way, if these phenomena encompassed by inner and outer grasping are analyzed by any reasoning that investigates the ultimate meaning, then in reality, there is nothing that can be established as an entity in it. Because, for those appearances, there is neither truth in one nor truth in multiple natures, therefore it is established as the nature of two emptinesses. Because, the more one analyzes the nature that appears as two, the more unbearable it is to analyze. Therefore, appearing as two is a mistaken appearance, although it appears, it is not true, like illusion, mirage, dream, and so on, one should understand this, and to the two
