Even if one thinks so, like the appearance of two moons, whether the external object itself is the cause can only be inferred afterwards, and it cannot be established through direct perception. Even if it is admitted as the cause, at the moment of experience, there is no experience of other objects, just as the sense consciousness does not experience the sense organ. Second, the so-called similarity between mind and object, if everything is the same, then the inner consciousness will no longer be consciousness, because there is no difference that is different from the external object in every aspect. If it is only similar in some aspects and experienced, then all objects will be experienced by all consciousnesses without difference. Because the shapes are very similar, experiencing one vase will experience all vases in all times and spaces. Moreover, experiencing a vase will also experience other things such as blankets, because there is no difference in some aspects, and all knowable things are only the same in that they are knowable. Second, even if it is not experienced merely because of similarity, but if, because of the power of the external object, the mind arises with the experience of the nature of blue, etc., so one wants to experience blue, etc. If so, similarly, because the nature of the previous consciousness that experiences the object is born to be held, the subsequent consciousness will immediately experience the previous one as well. If this must be the case, then you do not want to experience when you do not exist, which is harmful. Third, even if it arises from the objective condition and is similar in the shape of its nature, the consciousness that experiences blue, etc., is experienced by the subsequent consciousness, just as the external object blue, etc., is experienced, if it is not certain to arise, then there will be no fault of the previous consciousness being experienced. If uncertainty is not experience, then for the external object, there is no certainty that is always present. Because any momentary object that is experienced does not have the pervasiveness of being certain in that way. Even if the object is seen due to the power of distraction, there are cases where it appears but is not certain. If the object exists in the object of that consciousness, so there is a reason to lead to certainty, then why is it not in experience? Because in the school that does not want the consciousness itself to have an image, what does the consciousness without an object rely on to arise? So it should not arise.

Second, examining the experiencing mind: external white and so forth are established by clarity; internal pleasure and so forth are established by experience. First, posing questions based on clarity, and responding to them with reasoned answers, thereby refuting other wrong views as well. First, furthermore, when white and so forth are directly seen, what is this appearance that arises in the experience within a person, as the very clarity of awareness that manifestly appears as white and so forth? If it does not arise as a distinction of being clear as white itself, then how would the mind know the clarity of white? If that is the case, is such a clear appearance of awareness something other than this focus on the manifest clarity of white and so forth? Or is it the very nature of the clarity of white and so forth, being non-different? Thus, the question is posed. Second, if it is other than clarity, it is not reasonable; if it is clarity, then self-awareness is established. First, the fault of everything being unclear, and the fault of not apprehending the distinctions of objects. First, if the clarity of the mind is something other than the appearance of white and so forth, then the clarity of white and so forth itself would not be clarity, because it is separate from the clarity of the mind's experience. If so, how could the appearance of white be clear to the mind? What is unclear is like a pot in the dark. Whatever object is known or understood by the mind, that knowledge is said to be clear; if that knowledge is not clear, then the object itself will not be known or clear, so for all beings, nothing will be clear, and they will become blind and mute as if dwelling in darkness. Just as a lamp that is not clear itself, being like a pot and so forth, will never have the ability to illuminate others. In short, is this white and so forth, which undeniably appears clearly before the mind, merely an experience that has become the very nature of the mind's clarity? Or, apart from this, does the knowing that illuminates exist within, and the object to be illuminated exist outside? If one thinks that it exists outside, how can something not included in this clear appearance be clear, and it will not be manifest. Abandoning the experience of the manifest clarity of white and so forth, the illuminator that dwells within, for white and so forth,
