Because it has no form, and it is not related to the blue itself and the object to be grasped. It is not permissible, because if it is not distinguished by the form of blue, it is impossible to distinguish the differences between the grasping of blue, memory, and recollection. It is impossible to deny that there is no such memory, because it is established by experience merely by the mouth facing inward. Second, to argue without admitting external objects, to argue with the sign of simultaneous determination. There are three parts: debate, refutation, and summary. First, the consciousness that definitely grasps the object, together with the root consciousness, without before or after, experienced instantaneously, the object of the root consciousness, such as blue, by what kind of rational way can it be established that it is other than that root consciousness? Because these two have never been experienced separately. Because, the separate knower separated from the knowable, and the separate knowable not grasped by the knower, like the son of a barren woman, cannot be apprehended. When the object is experienced, the knower itself appears as having the aspect of the object, established without before or after. When the root consciousness arises, the object to be grasped also appears, this is pervasive. For all appearing objects, there is no other object appearing other than this. Therefore, whether it is the object experienced by non-conceptual appearance, or the object experienced by conceptual non-appearance, it is certain that the object and the subject are apprehended simultaneously, it is impossible to apprehend separately, in a before-and-after manner, or in a different manner, without connection. Therefore, to argue that it is a different entity, it is impossible to find the correct reason, because the separate other entity cannot be apprehended by valid cognition. If it is said that even if it is not apprehended separately, but the simultaneous non-erroneous consciousness apprehends differently, if this cannot establish a different entity, then the pillar and the vase will also become one. Generally speaking, in the school that does not admit self-awareness, it is permissible to experience blue, but how can one experience the consciousness that exists at the same time as this? It will certainly become unexperienced. Therefore, how can one experience a different entity at the same time like a pillar and a vase? If it is thought that when experiencing blue, the consciousness existing inside and the blue outside appear as two parts, this can be established by experience, then self-awareness will also be established. Because

Then two (things) would also be established. Because the object existing simultaneously cannot be the cause of that consciousness, therefore such appearance can only be the aspect of consciousness. Moreover, it is true that the various different appearances perceived by the non-deluded consciousness are established as different by appearing as that and that, just as blue and yellow, pleasure and pain, etc., cannot become one in the appearance of consciousness. However, since one consciousness can appear as many at the same time, consciousness and object are not different, because it is impossible to separate and apprehend them. If it is argued that even if they cannot be separated and apprehended, at the same time, consciousness dwells within, being clear and aware; the object exists outside, being devoid of clarity and awareness, and having the nature of an aggregate of particles, therefore it is perceived as very different. If one perceives in that way, what other way of perceiving is there other than perceiving separately in that way? If it is said that the clear experience of the external object is a different experience from consciousness, then who would know that this is devoid of clarity and awareness and is material? If it is consciousness that knows, then it is acceptable that consciousness appears with such an aspect, but it is impossible to establish that it is different from consciousness, because such an appearance is only established as the appearance of consciousness in that way. If it is argued that merely because the object and the subject appear as different, they are established as different entities, because that is how they appear. Then, just as a deluded consciousness sees two moons where there are none, although they appear as two due to the delusion of dualistic appearance, they are not actually established as different in that way. If that were the case, they would become one whole, and if it is said that all separate appearances are due to delusion, then they would be the same. If it is thought that they are the same, they are not the same, because whatever is deluded into appearing as two from one, and is not actually established as different, must always be apprehended together, like two moons. If two moons could also be apprehended separately, then two moons would also exist in reality. Therefore, what is not mistaken as two from one, although sometimes apprehended together, is not necessarily so at all times and places, for example, different blue and yellow, although sometimes apprehended together, there is no certainty that they are always experienced together at all times and places. These two examples use the examples of concomitance and difference to establish pervasiveness, and the reason for such different entities is that
